The plan by Commanders for Israel’s Security on Friday called for a broad Israeli withdrawal from territory captured in the 1967 war to allow the Palestinians to establish their state.

The group’s chairman Amnon Reshaf criticizes “fear mongers” who say there is no Palestinian partner for peace.

The report’s publication closely follows the appointment of a defense minister who is an outspoken skeptic of peace efforts with the Palestinians, and a French initiative to restart talks that collapsed in 2014.

War veterans are well-respected in Israel, and their input has previously shifted debate.

    “Intelligence” officers? You mean “fools”!

Is there anything worse than having an enemy from within your people? What the heck is wrong with those idiots? Intelligence officers, my foot. Look at Gaza!. Israel withdrew from there and the Arabs turned it into a launching pad to attack Israel. Thank Gd, they were contained. Give them the West Bank; and they’ll have more leverage and more land to attack again. Dummies: . :

This just goes to show that, exactly like in the US, the Left are very lacking in intelligence, rationality, and even sanity! How any person, especially an officer, who has seen first hand the levels of terror and destruction Israel’s enemies have endlessly inflicted on her, can even suggest that THEY know better, THEY have a plan to bring “peace,” if only Israel will give up more land (!), is beyond comprehension! This has been tried (remember the gaza failed experiment?!) over and over, and the Israelis were rewarded for their sacrifices with more terror! The definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior and expecting a different result. Obviously these sad people are insane.

Let’s see, how many armchair general’s will call them “self-hating Jews”. Or Liberal blah blah, in the meantime they don’t contribute to the defense of Israel. Sorry in my book sitting and learning is not contributing zilch.

Slowly but surely people are coming around to the truth. The low-information vosizneis commentator will sooner or later come around to the truth. The true Torah view of zionism and the State is very far from the da’as ba’al ha’bayis. Furthermore, a non-biased study of zionism will reveal that the zionists, and then the medinah, forcibly removed Arabs from their homes and villages in order to establish the State. The Haganah, and then the IDF, instigated conflicts and murdered innocent civilians in order to chase Arabs out of their homes.
Instead of spewing forth zionist propaganda that has been been debunked long ago, we should face the truths of history.

Dear Amnon Reshef, You and your group miss the whole point. ‘Eretz HaKodesh’ belongs to ‘Am Yisroel’ though G-d Alm-ty. You, and no one else, has the right to ‘give away’ land (It’s not ‘given away’). You also don’t own the land. Study. (‘Pekuach Nefesh’ is a ‘heter’ Here there is none.)
