The B’Tselem group reported Monday that Israeli authorities demolished 168 homes in the West Bank from January to the end of June this year. It says that’s more than the number of homes demolished in 2015, and higher than the annual rate of demolitions since 2006, except for the 175 Palestinian homes demolished in 2013.
The group says this year’s demolitions left 740 Palestinians homeless.
B’Tselem says most of the demolitions were in areas of the West Bank where Israel controls building. Israel says much Palestinian building in those areas is illegal.
Israeli defense officials had no immediate comment.
Kain yirbu!
Yes. There were far more terror attacks coming from the West Bank areas. Let them be homeless, let them starve, let them perish. When they will behave as humans, they will be treated as such.
Finally some good news.
Someone has to tell B’Tselem that Israelis have rights – rights to live without being hacked and axed to death, knifed to death, heads cut off, shot and bombed to pieces. Are they interested in everyone’s rights, or only some people’s rights? That itself is discriminatory, don’t they see that
If buildings are illegal they are demolished, whether in Yehuda v Shomron, Tel Aviv or Ramat Yishai. Illegal is illegal. Why are you even giving space to B’Tselem to propogate their lies?
And, I ask again, who is allowing copy to go through containing the FICTITIOUS naming of the so-called-‘west-bank’. ‘The West Bank’ is a Jordanian given name to Jewish Lands. Please just stop it.
