Washington – Donald Trump is calling on the Clintons to shut down their charitable foundation “immediately.”

Trump says in a statement Monday morning that “the Clinton Foundation is the most corrupt enterprise in political history.”
He says, “It must be shut down immediately.”
The foundation announced recently that it would not accept donations from foreign contributors if Hillary Clinton were elected president.
The Clinton campaign has defended the foundation’s work, insisting it is saving lives around the globe through vaccine work.
Trump donated to the foundation himself in the past.

This is merely an attempt to take the focus off his and his former staff members connections to Russia and the failure to release his income tax returns which document his ties to Putin.

Last week, last month, last year is when the Clinton Foundation should have been closed. A shanda ! – and yet the Clintons seem to have no shanda.
I’m not voting for Hillary or Trump. But, it is important to note that the Clintons have made their tax returns since 2001 public. There is no evidence that they have ever used their foundation to “wash” money. In fact, they have donated millions of their own dollars to the charity and tax records for both show they’ve never taken any money out. Former President George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton ran many of the activities of the foundation which centers around stopping the spread of preventable, deadly diseases around the world by providing access to medicine, clean water and nutritious food. And, it there is ANY evidence to the contrary…. why have we not seen it? Trump is just swinging wildly, hoping for a miracle. There are so many proven things that he could be hitting Hillary with…. why isn’t he? Why does he keep making up fake issues? The answer, from my perspective, is that he doesn’t have any better answers. He’s gonna make everything “fantastic”, and “the best” but he can’t tell you what he’s going to do or how he’s going to pay for it… except that he’ll do away with free trade which makes him the most liberal, anti-business candidate in the race.
The Clinton Foundation does present a problem for a potential President Clinton. As do Trump’s many many business relationships. I think both candidates should commit to completely liquidating their very entangled financial lives if they are elected – Clinton should commit to completely down the foundation, and Trump to completely selling off all of his businesses.
