Obama on Tuesday strongly criticized Trump for praising Russian President Vladimir Putin and for appearing on a TV channel, RT, funded by the Russian government.

“Unfortunately, we see continued displays of often hard-core Russophobia,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, commenting on Obama’s intervention, told a conference call with reporters. “We can only express regret in this regard.

“This rhetoric, which is being formulated in electoral campaign style … is unlikely to help fledgling fragile attempts to build at least some sort of mutual trust.”

It’s so funny how liberals are suppose to represent the ideaology of being peaceful with other nations while conservatives are allegedly the hawks. Yet, its seems to be the opposite now. The conservatives seem to be more level and cool headed.

For the life of me I don’t get the animosity towards putin. What exactly do we stand to gain from bickering? Is there a humanatarian crisis? Lets say the man takes the whole Ukraine. Who cares?

Some will argue Putin suppresses journalists and free speech. And he has killed his political enemies. The answer is yes its true we all admit Putin is not an ideal leader. We don’t admire him and we condemn him for his actions. But everything has to be scaled. Is the man a mass murderer? Is he even doing like our ally in Nato Erdogean? Is he rounding up 40,000 polictial oppenents and placing them in subhuman conditions? Lets not get caught up with trees look at the forest. Overall we can’t pursue every leader that violates human rights. It has to be in large numbers to be of concern.
