New York – NY Israeli Consulate To Hold Live Citizen Press Conference On Twitter Regarding Hamas Conflict

    A man taking cover with his son as a rocket is hitting SedrotNew York -Today Between 1-3 pm (EST), the Consulate General of Israel in New York will hold a live Citizen “Press” Conference on Twitter in order to directly answer the public’s questions regarding the current situation in Israel and Gaza in wake of the IDF’s operation in the Strip.

    Twitter is a fast-growing social networking service, and the consulate’s intiative is the first time that a government is holding such a conference via the service

    “We are constantly getting questions from the public regarding the situation in Israel and Gaza,” David Saranga, Consul for Media and Public Affairs, said. “We are answering the public’s call and holding a Citizen Press Conference on the social networking site, Twitter, to answer these questions directly.”

    Twitter users can take part in the Citizen “Press” Conference by going to: http://www.twitter.com/IsraelConsulate and directing their messages to @israelconsulate and including the tag #AskIsrael.

    Questions will be answered on Twitter, with a link to IsraelPolitik if the answer exceeds Twitter’s maximum length of 140 characters.

    I once heard a saying “you are not doing something right unless you have someone criticizing you for it “. Whatever Israel decides to do they will be criticized for it. It is the worlds job as haters of Israel and Jews to find ways to be critical. That is what makes running the state a challenge to be able to stand up to the whole world to protect lives. (This is unlike writing comments here that one can remain anonymous and still get their message across.)If the politicians cannot stand up to this pressure they should resign .

    Ummmm, this photo looks eerily like the one several years ago of the palestinian and his son WHICH WAS STAGED AND ULTIMATELY FALSE because the boy didn’t die. Since this one is real, why not send it to all the news outlets.
