Gaza – The head of Hamas’ government in the Gaza Strip, Ismail Haniya, called for an unconditional end to the five-day old Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip as the first step toward ending the violence. Haniya, who gave a speech while in hiding that was broadcast by the pro-Hamas al-Aqsa television, also demanded and end to the blockade of Gaza, the reopening of crossings, and talks on Palestinian reconciliation.

The truth is what he says is really irrelevant as Israel needs to protect its citizens and should not stop until it is over. The fact that he is calling for an end to the war is because he finally starting to feel like he is loosing and is hoping the other side will give up. It would be like in a chess game there are 4 moves to a check mate and the loosing side says lets go for a stale mate .That would be ridiculous. This is precisely the time that Israel needs top strengthen its resolve and win the war. The world will put more pressure to end because even Hamas is willing to stop but the opposite is true .They want something left of themselves so they can return to their rocket after Israel stops bombing .

Why is Israel still providing electricity to Gaza?
If Israel actually has the guts to take over Gaza this time, (even though I doubt it because they say they don’t want to stay -so how can you get rid of the Hamas gov. and not stay there?) they should go back and take the West Bank also. There will be no peace even with the PLO because their leader just said he is suspending peace talks with Israel. We should stop fooling ourselves even until Moshiach comes there can be no peace with these Arabs, so go back to they way it was before Oslo -”Occupied territories”. Maybe we should even take Syria, Lebanon and Jordan which is also Palestine. We have gotten nothing but dead Jews and world hatred by pursuing peace with the Arabs. Just as a side point, remember Clinton’s promise that if Israel gave the Arabs the West Bank & Gaza, the world and the US will come to Israel’s defense if the “Palestinians” would attack Israel. Don’t you see how the world has defended Israel through all these missile and homocide bombers that we have had since we made “peace” with them?

Israel tries to avoid civilian deaths. But these cowards are hiding in civilian areas. Last I checked, that was a war-crime. But, Gazans are above law.
Now, these guys are asking for a cease fire.
And the very same day they ask for a cease fire — that very same day — they shot off thirty missiles deep into civilian cities. Again not aimed at army personnel.
Rather, aimed at helpless civilians.
Israel has only one choice. To completely and totally destroy this madman bunch of hoodlums called Hamas. Enough is enough. And it was enough long long ago.
Its all a ploy to get the world media working even more for them. They “claim” on humanitarian grounds that Israel should stop the war. Just wipe all gaza out & then Israel will stop!
