Charlotte, NC – A black man killed by a Charlotte, North Carolina, police officer this week did not aggressively approach officers and had his hands by his side when he was shot, a lawyer said on Thursday after the man’s family watched two police videos of the incident.

Lawyer Justin Bamberg said in a statement it was impossible to tell from the videos if Keith Scott, 43, was holding anything when he was shot on Tuesday afternoon. Police say Scott had a gun; his family and a witness said he was holding a book.
So the lawyer said it was “impossible to tell from the VIDEO”.
Lying agitator…
“Burn it down” should be the new motto for “Black lives matter.”
Unfortunately, the police story does not jive with reality.
The police first said that they were trying to serve an arrest warrant. The victim had no warrants.
And the video does not jive with the police story that he “got back out of the vehicle armed with a firearm and posed an imminent deadly threat to the officers.”
This disabled person did not pose a threat.
Authorities have said he died at Carolinas Medical Center Thursday as a result of a gunshot wound. From the police officer. To the police department’s credit, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are conducting a homicide investigation into Carr’s death.
But can they honestly investigate themselves?
Well the video is out and he had a gun. Case closed.
