Chicago, IL – A bomb threat was received in the West Rogers Park neighborhood that threatened Jewish day schools in Chicago and the suburbs.

The letter was received in the regular mail delivery to the Associated Talmud Torahs and the Ida Crown Jewish Academy, 2828 W. Pratt Blvd., according to a Rogers Park District police lieutenant.
The letter indicated a bomb threat to Jewish day schools in Chicago and the suburbs.
The police Bomb & Arson Section is investigating. Further details of the letter will not be released.
What do you expect? More and more Muslims are coming to the states and it won’t be long before one of them, as they did in France a few years ago, try to blow a bomb up in front of a Jewish school, G-d forbid!
Islam is growing in the USA and Europe and is slowly taking over, spreading like a cancer in a human body. But as caner does kill a human being, so will Islam kill humanity.
We need to treat humanity, to allow it to recover and be healed!
That does not mean that we have to kill every Muslim, which is understandable.
Just realize that their power comes from us! We buy oil of them and they invest it into Isalm and other Muslim countries.
Just try and buy gaz from US origine and buy US products of every kind. Support US owned shops, etc…
Of course make sure to first support you local Jewish owned businesses first!
If the Arabs get less money from us, we will get less trouble from them. Imagine if Saudi Arabia wouldn’t be able o sell any oil, they would struggle!
So think twice before buying products in your shop and look where it comes from.
This is just a test of our reaction. The same happened in Baltimore in 2002. There is no question that what the Islamists have done in other parts of the world will be tried here in the USA soon. We just have to do our hishtadlus. And not rely on ‘Hashem yerachem’ as one Dean Emeritus stated in Baltimore.
Unfortunately this is at least the second incident reported here in the last few days. Let’s hope this doesn’t continue and is stopped in its tracks. Perhaps as President elect Obama prepares to take office and realizes that terrorism will be a very important thing for him to deal with there is something he may want to take to heart. When something negative like this happens in Chicago his home town at the same time when the Gaza conflict is ongoing there may be a connection. Perhaps it can be impressed upon him to allocate more money to Chicago to help fight terrorism there and more surveillance over the Muslim and other dangerous communities.
Motti what are you talking about? Where should I start in my response to you completely ignorant comment?
First, how do you know that the Arabs are behind this threat? It could have been any Anti-Semite. Unfortunetly there are many of them. West Rogers Park is a very multi-cultural area. Anybody could have done this. Even God forbid a student who does not want to have school for a while could have done this. How can you be certin that it was an Arab who did this. True there are many Arabs in the community, but there is a fundamental logic that must be used: There are a ton of Arabs. There are not so many terrorists in proportions to Arabs. Therefore, saying that an entire race is behind this threat is absurd. True there are terrorists, but this is the first terror related story in Chicago that I can remember. The Arabs and Jews have co-existed for a long time in Chicago, and even though this is a threat, there is no proof that it was them.
About the oil companies. We can not be worried about them. True they help the Arab nations’ economies. but this is a good thing. Think about it. Lebanon had a weak economy and therefore a weak government. Hesbalah, sponcered in Syria and Iran became a political power in Lebanon because they were able to take over a weak government. Next thing we know, Hesbalah attacks Israel and we had a war only a few summers ago. Therefore, we need the peaceful nations like Egypt and Jordan to have money so that they are not taken over by terrorists and start another war with Israel.
I have more about the situation in Israel today. We are now in a war against hamas in the Gaza strip. I FULLY SUPPORT ISRAEL IN THIS WAR. Israel knows for sure exactly who is attacking them (Hamas, not all Arabs) and is addressing the problem. I have no problem with attacking terrorist, I actually support it. But we must know who we are targeting. If Israel said that Arabs are bombing us, then they would also go bomb Egypt and Jordan, nations that are peaceful with Israel. Istead they say that Hamas is attacking us and therefore we need to take out Hamas.
This is similar to here. We can not say that the Arabs are threatening us because this may not be true. We need to say that we are bing threatened, find out who did it, and get that person or those people.
Also, whoever did it must not be an intelligent person because he or she used the mail. The post office can trace exactly where it was given, and what time because of the stamps that go on top f the stamps. They can easily trace this letter, and the terrorist should be captured shortly. I would not be suprised if it was a stupid student trying to get an extra day of vacation.
I have been to that school and I have seen with my own eyes that they have virtually no security. They have cameras all around that are shown in the office. The TV is located behind the office desks, so nobody can ever see the TVs. Also, there are no cameras on the second floor, and the second floor is gaurded by breakable glass windows surrounding the roof to the gym. They are easily broken because two years ago a student was pushed through one of the windows. The school needs some serious money for some security improvements.
what about the rest of the Jewish school in the Chicago land area that had a bomb threat and not just Ida Crown…..but I guess no one cares about them……
