He deserves credit for his accomplishments, but his arrogance drove him to trample on groups, that did not fit his political flair. Resulting in his involvement in the criminal Yemenite babies kidnapping. And the disastrous Oslo accords and more.

BDE. Peres was and is a true image of a Zionist Jew: proud, tough, passionate, educated, intelligent, cultured, compassionate, committed. The man lived an extraordinary life and left a mark on Jewish and world history for which many generations will remember him for.
I haven’t read his bio until now. I just assumed he was born in Israel. Peres is the great-grand son of Reb Chaim of Volozhin. He was born in then Poland, now Volozhin Belarus. He grew up speaking Yiddish, Russian and Hebrew, learned French and English. As a child he received a blessing from Chofetz Chaim. In 1950s he came to the U.S. and received his education from NYU and Harvard.

A person can spend his entire life arrogantly causing death and destruction. But the most famous and most powerful are all limited by time. Sooner or later, every person goes the way of the world to face the true Judge and be judged according to true Judgement. Shimon Peres, you caused so much destruction and death to so many precious Jewish people with your idiotic leftist Oslo ideas. You called victims of terror “sacrifices for peace.” Anti-Semitic and pro-Arab world leaders admired you and gave you a Nobel prize. But you are now in a place where you cannot fool anyone. You stand alone and your soul is totally bare before the True Judge. . .

#2 - you are not scoring any points -especially days before Rosh Hashana by calling a fellow jew a rosho hours after his death. Much can be said about his positions he took and the things that he did….or didn’t do. But to call him a rosho as you did in my view is wrong and you owe him and his family an apology.

Simon Peres- a total mensch. Even his Arab enemies respected him. Only the haredi find evil words for him in death. Time for a reformation in the shtetl.
