The Daily Caller reported that Huma Abedin, Hillary Clinton’s closest aide, was part of a email-discussion about a possible appearance by then-President Bill Clinton at an AIPAC conference. The emails, released on September 21st in response to a Freedom of Information Act request by conservative advocacy group Citizens United, detail a conversation between Doug Band, a close advisor to Bill Clinton, Cheryl Mills, Hillary Clinton’s chief of staff and Abedin.

In an email dated September 10, 2009, Band shared that the president was hesitant about accepting an invitation to speak at the March 2010 AIPAC Policy Conference held at the Washington Convention Center.

“Aipac begging for wjc to come speak at conference,” wrote Band. “He doesn’t think he should unless you all do.”

“Let’s ask Hrc b/c we need to touch this base,” replied Mills.

Abedin chimed in a short time later saying, “U really want to consider sending him into that crowd?”

Asking for a final answer, Bond replied “Go or not go?”

“No go to aipac,” responded Abedin.

Ultimately, it was Hillary Clinton, not the president who spoke at the 2010 AIPAC conference, speaking passionately about a two state solution, praising Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for placing a moratorium on new residential construction in the West Bank and calling President Obama “a good friend to Israel.”

Critics have long questioned Abedin’s loyalties, as several of her family members have close ties to radical Islamic groups. Abedin’s father, Syed Abedin, was the founder of the Institute of Muslim Minority Affairs. Huma Abedin edited a journal published by the group for 12 years until her associations with Hillary Clinton brought her to the Department of State in 2009.

Abedin’s high level security clearance was a cause of concern to Andrew McCarthy, a former U.S. Attorney who headed the prosecution team against Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and others responsible for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

“During Hillary Clinton’s tenure at the State Department, some of us pointed out that Abedin’s background raised concerns about Islamist sympathies and unfitness for a security clearance that gave her access to top-secret intelligence,” said McCarthy.

Despite rumors of anti-Semitics leanings, Abedin was married to Jewish former Congressman Anthony Wiener for six years, a union that ended this summer after Wiener was caught engaging yet again in a sexting scandal.

In an interview with Vogue, Abedin said her Muslim faith played a significant role in getting her through the dark hours after the breakup of her marriage.

While both AIPAC and the Clinton Foundation declined to comment on the email, Morton Klein, national president of the Zionist Organization of America, described it as “appalling.”

Klein said that Abedin’s email “shows hostility towards Jews and Israel in light of the fact that ‘that crowd’ gives huge ovations to White House speakers.”

I would be anti-Semitic if I was married to Anthony Weiner.

Abedins words may show hostility to Israel but NOT to jews. Its 2 diffrent things. Bibi showed open hostility to our president and even tried to cozy us up to him while bashing the American president in US soil. He has unprecedented chutzpah! The last thing we shld worry is if Clinton doesnt love Israel or for that natter AIPAC. SheL get my first vote on it and i never supported a democrat yet. GR8 work Hillary.

Is anyone here surprised? This is what you’ll get more of if HRC gets your (winning) vote. You think Huma (who got immunity!) is going anywhere other than right along with HRC? She’s a Saudi plant. This is diversity at its worst. And to think the Jewish vote will mostly tilt toward this machshefah. Busha!

Just to show what a Hillary administration (G-D forbid!) would look like! Any Jew, let alone any sane, moral human being, who votes for the criminal Hilary, should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve come to expect amateurish reporting from Sandy Eller, but this is ridiculous. Her article is a lame rewrite of the hyper-partisan and shrill presentation of this non-story by pro-Trump websites like Daily Caller and Drudge and Breitbart.

First of all, the story is seven years old.

Second, Hillary wasn’t even involved in the e-mail exchange and probably never even knew about it.

Third, Eller completely ignores the context — the e-mail exchange occurred just a few days after the administration had been blindsided by Netanyahu: just when it seemed the stalled talks between Israel and the Palestinians were about to resume, perhaps with the involvement, for the first time, of several Arab states, the Netanyahu government suddenly and very publicly announced a new round of settlement expansion, and the talks were off.

Fourth, the fact that Hillary herself spoke to AIPAC the following year — and gave a rousing, pro-Israel speech — demonstrates just what a non-story this is.

Finally, Eller regurgitates the garbage about Huma that wackos like Michele Bachmann were spreading a few years ago (and which John McCain and others described as slanderous lies).

AIPAC is anti Semitic. The evangelical Christian community plays an increasingly vital role in AIPAC’s work (it is on their website) because they want to ignite a nuclear Holocaust between Muslims and Jews in which the majority of world Jewry will perish and the tattered remnant will then accept Jesus as Lord.

With friends like this, who needs enemies?
