Brooklyn, NY – Police say a man is dead after a wave knocked him off a Coney Island pier.

They say the man fell off a jetty near Coney Island Beach in Brooklyn Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say emergency responders pulled him ashore and performed CPR on the unconscious man. He was taken to a hospital where police say he was declared dead.
Police say the man was in his 20s. His name wasn’t immediately released.
An investigation is ongoing.

Hard to believe he was knocked off the Coney Island pier , the pier has a high fence and there was no storm. Probably fell off some rocks..
