As was reported here on VIN News, Mr Amsellem was a prominent Jewish doctor in Valenton, a suburb of Paris. He is Algerian Jew and his patients were primarily North African.

The Jewish community is concerned that the Police has no suspects, and no attention has been given to this, as a possible hate crime.

A family member that Spoke to VIN news from the Hospital Bicètre in Paris said, “there is a mandatory autopsy, as much as we have fought there is complicity by the Bet Din of Paris. He will be buried in Eretz Yisrael at the earliest possible time”

Dr. Amsellem leaves behind a wife, 1 son that lives in Paris, and 2 daughters that live New York.

The union of the Jewish students of France (UEJF) and the national office of vigilance against anti-semitism (BNVCA) said to fear a new wave of anti-semitism, caused by the conflict in the Middle East.

Baruch Dayan HaEmet. May his family be comforted.

This is disgraceful. But I bet the French Police, with their white flags of surrender and their practice march of surrender, would do an ace job of investigating this if it was Muslim who got killed.

We Jews need to be careful, even in the US. But how many stories do we have to hear about on VIN and other places about Muslim rage?

Hashem yinkoim damoi. This is whjat you get for helping Muslims – a knife in the back.

Sadly, many North African Jews still feel comfortable around North African Muslims who followed them to France, not realizing that thanks to Saudi sponsored mosques and imams (and the complete inability of the uneducated Muslims to succeed in modern France the way the educated and industrious North African Jews do), the Muslims have become radicalized since arriving in France.

The older generation would have nothing but respect for a fine Jewish doctor like Dr Amsallem HY”D (who reminds them of the respected Jewish doctors of old back in Algeria), but the young radicalized toughs just see him as an infidel to be beaten and killed R”L.

    Oh no. Baruch Dayan HaEmes.

I feel so sad for his mishpucha, for his local Kehillah, for all Yidden. May his blood be avenged soon. May his Olam HaBah be sweet and any aveirahs be forgiven…

His only ‘aveira’ (see post 6) seems to have kindness toward his poor Moslem clients. How sad.

I have no religion whatsoever and I am not judging anyone but I come from this city in France. I grew up there with Muslim and Jewish people, with people from all over the world. That man was loved. He was my family doctor when they arrived in Valenton. I am not saying it is not a hate crime because I don’t know who did it or why, the only thing that I know for sure is that the people from Valenton are shocked and pissed beyond words that someone could kill such a good man. And like I said I grew up with those people and they are Muslim, Jewish and from all over the world, and many of them are still mourning a man they appreciated and respected.

I am a close friend of one of Dr. Amsellem’s daughters in NY. We are all shocked and saddened by this unexpected tragedy. We urge everyone not to rush to judgement and presume that it is a hate crime. It may well be, but let us not perpertate the hate that causes so much pain. May the guilty be punished sorely.
