Progressive Portland is calling the event the “Muslim-Owned Business Buy-In” and it is using it to rally against anti-Muslim sentiment. The event is taking place in Portland on Saturday and Sunday. The group says more than 600 people signed up to participate.

The group organized the event in the wake of an act of vandalism against a halal market in the city. The Council on American-Islamic Relations condemned the Christmas Eve window-smashing as an example of anti-Muslim sentiment.

Portland Mayor Ethan Strimling is participating in the shopping drive. He planned to visit three Muslim-owned markets on Saturday morning.

“solidarity against Islamophobia”. Why is being anti Islam a phobia? Islam is a religion of hate? Why shouldn’t I hate and discriminate against those that seek to hurt me?
Let me debunk the theory that its only a minority bla bla….
    1) Only a very small minority kill. But a far larger minority are taught to hate us. Its been documented that schools in the UAE (a secular liberal country) teach their children hate.
    2) The crimes are so severe in nature that even if its only a minority we must discriminate as an act of caution. Its not collective punishment rather its precautions.
    3) Its the only crimes that I know that are committed on large scales in the name of the religion. All religions have fringe elements. But when those fringe elements use religion in such a viscous manner it speaks volumes toward the entire religon. This is especially so in the 21st century when all other religions evolved to peaceful tones.

Now that does not mean we should vandalize or harm Muslims. We are better than that. But as the die hard anti Trump camps say lets not normalize Muslims.

This might well be the first time in our history that someone with a pro-Muslim agenda decided to accomplish this by a peaceful means. Until now, all they ever did was engage in hate, violence, and terror.

It has been a mistake of the world to treat Islam as a religion. It is NOT. It is an ideology of hate, greed, lust, and murder. It wears the cloak of “religion” to gain acceptance among the fools of the world that are liberal in thinking, and buy into one of the world’s greatest follies in history – political correctness. You wish tolerance, fine. But as soon as you start with terror stuff, there is no alternative except to eradicate the perpetrators.
