Washington – Pence Meets Netanyahu, Reiterates Direct Talks Only Path To Mideast Peace

(Avi Ohayon, GPO)Washington – US Vice President Mike Pence met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday and reaffirmed US President Donald Trump’s position that peace between Israel and the Palestinians can only be negotiated through direct talks between the two parties.

    Pence pledged that the US would work closely with the sides to make progress toward that aim.

    During Netanyahu’s first trip to meet with the new White House administration in Washington, the vice president also hailed the “unbreakable bond” between the US and Israel and underscored America’s commitment to standing with Israel in the face of regional threats, including Iran and its proxies along with radical Islamic terrorist organization such as Islamic State.
