Brooklyn Judge Carol Bagley Amon said Tuesday the names to be turned over by Thursday must include legal travelers from seven predominantly Muslim nations subjected to Trump’s executive order.

Civil rights lawyers had complained the government had not turned over a list of names of people affected by the order. The lawyers said it was difficult to identify those who were turned away without a list.

Amon says the list must encompass those subjected to the executive order from 9:37 p.m. on Jan. 28 to 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 29.

The White House says Trump’s order is necessary to protect against terrorism.
