In a tweet on Saturday, the president doesn’t give a reason but says he wishes “everyone well and have a great evening!”
The annual fundraiser for college scholarships mixes politicians, journalists and celebrities.
Trump has long had an adversarial relationship with news media. In recent weeks, he has accused some news outlets of publishing “fake news.”
Trump has also slammed reporters for using anonymous sources. His frustration includes reports describing contacts between his campaign advisers and Russian intelligence agents, which the White House has disputed. Yet members of his staff regularly demand anonymity when talking to reporters
Thin-skinned Trump can dish it out, but he can’t take it. His attacks on the press, especially calling them ‘America’s number one enemy’ amplify his fascistic instincts and basically anti-American gut. He screams about unnamed sources, but where were the new Fuhrer’s sources for Obama coming from Kenya, illegals voting in Vermont, Ted Cruz’ father, voter fraud across the country, arabs dancing on rooftops in NJ after 9/11 and 100 other idiotic assertions. Our new Fuhrer is the main source of fake news and hate speech in America today. It can’t be denied, even by the alt-yidden who will be responsible for the woes that befall us due to his misery.
Reagan, Bush attended the dinner but the darling of the VIN diaper brigade and cohorts will not attend . Will make America great again by censuring the press. Laughing stock of the world.

I agree with Trump not wishing to go to the dumb White House Correspondent’s Dinner. Why should he have to go there, and be verbally abused and mocked for several hours? Not only would he be mocked, but the First Lady would also be mocked. I don’t think that Trump should ever go to that dinner. One would have to be a masochist to go there, in today’s environment. According to the hypocritical news media, it is fine for horrible things to be said about Trump and his family, including his 10 year old son. However, the news media gave an entertainer a free pass at that dinner last year, when he referred to Obama, as “my ni–er”. This is typical of the garbage reporting which exists today, by those who call themselves “journalists”.
