Trump Jr. tweeted : “You have to be kidding me?!: Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan.” The tweet included a link to a Sept. 22 story from Britain’s Independent newspaper that includes the quote from Khan, who was asking Londoners to be vigilant following a bombing in New York City.
British Member of Parliament Wes Streeting was among numerous Britons who responded to the tweet with criticism. He called Trump Jr. “a disgrace” and accused him of using a terrorist attack for “political gain.”
When asked about Trump Jr. on Thursday, Khan told CNN: “I’m not going to respond to a tweet from Donald Trump Jr. I’ve been doing far more important things over the past 24 hours.”
He added that “terrorists hate the fact” that cities including London, New York and Paris have “diverse communities living together peacefully.”
But they bamned Michael Savage & were debating in parliament last year to Ban Trump, but they bring in the Peaceful muslims who openly preach taht sharia is coming to London & death to infidels. You reap what you sow.
Trump is facing criticism but not the Mayor for not preventing this atrocious attack and saying “terror attacks are part of living in a big city”? Boy we live in a messed up world
If only they had Rudy as a mayor
The ultimate goal should not be to be “prepared for these things”. The goal should be to eliminate “these things”. And that is the point. And that is why these guys criticizing Trump Junior are of questionable, even dangerous, ideology.
The Soiled Yam doesn’t fall far from the tree. I like his slicked-back Goebbels look…
This mayor has the typical mentality of his brethren, and that’s why he’s unashamed to express his sick view, that it’s to be expected that “terrorism will happen in big cities,”
It is like Camelot all over again, the class, the elegance.
Trump Jung Don has spoken.
Officials are elected to solve problems, not justify them. Part of his job is to work on getting rid of terrorism and any criminal activity. What if one of our elected representatives would say “We have to face the fact that there are going to be people in our country who do not have health insurance because it is too expensive.” He was elected to solve the problem, not justify it.
