Biden told students at Colgate University in central New York on Friday that he could have won the election but the Democratic primary would have been “very difficult.”

Biden said his son Beau’s battle with brain cancer kept him out of the race.

The Observer-Dispatch of Utica reports (http://bit.ly/2nS1bWc ) that Biden said anyone who runs for president should be able to “look the public in the eye and promise you they can give you 100 percent.”

Biden says he doesn’t regret not running but added, “Do I regret not being president? Yes.”

Biden says he hopes President Donald Trump, a Republican, “grows into the job a little bit.”

On what platform could he have won? Hey remember all the things you liked about Obama, well I was the white guy standing next to him?????
The Dems knew the only chance they had to win could be with a woman. Biden doesn’t stand for anything that Blacks, Hispanics, or Muslims were looking for to fight off the Republicans.
His statement is as far fetched as Obama saying he could have won a third term against Trump.

He’s probably right , but defeating Hillary is no big deal. A patient in a coma could have defeated her. Trump won because he was running essentially unopposed !!

    He is right,
Many losers won before him too, look at Obama, Carter.
Only the qestion is how many losers can US afford, how much damage we can sustain from them.

Biden is a fine respectable man who knows had to work both sides of the aisle. I still like Trump better. But Biden as a democrat would have been the best we can get.

Noone can dispute that he is just a classy good man.
