The Democratic mayor grew up outside Boston and is a fan of the Yankees’ rival Boston Red Sox.

During events in the Bronx this week, the mayor was asked if he planned to attend a Yankees game in the Bronx at any point in the future. The New York Post reports (http://nyp.st/2rjV4fJ ) de Blasio gave a one-word answer: no.

Bronx Republican Chairman Michael Rendino says the mayor’s refusal to attend a home game is one more reason he’s endorsing Republican mayoral candidate Paul Massey. Democratic state Senator Ruben Diaz Sr., of the Bronx, says de Blasio is insulting Bronx residents.

It would be better if for the Boston Red Socks if he would route for that team if he lived in Boston and it will be 1000% for NYC if he would lived there too, this piece of leftist garbage

Where is it written that the Mayor has to attend every single sporting event in NYC?
If he chooses not to go, that is his business!

Acting Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez — New York state’s first Puerto Rican chief prosecutor — will skip the June 11 Puerto Rican Day Parade, which has come under fire for honoring a leader of the FALN terrorist group.

DeBlassio will however march in the parade.

Another example of selective recognition are aviation tragedies, which have occurred in New York City. If everyone will recall, Mayor DeBlasio and Mayor Bloomberg went to memorials for the victims of the American Airlines crash in Rockaway, which occurred in 2001. In fact, a memorial was quickly erected at that site. However, there was a crash of a United DC-8 in Park Slope in 1960, as well as a TWA Constellation which crashed into Staten Island on the same day, following a collision. There was never a memorial service, or a memorial erected, at either site by city officials, over the decades, since that horrible accident. The relatives of the victims, on their own, erected a memorial in 2010. As the New York saying goes, gofigureitout.

de Blasio is a loser so it makes sense that he should stick with the Mets.
