The demonstrators held signs reading “We are not second class citizens” and “Bibi go home” at the rally Wednesday evening. Television anchor Nadav Borenstein and singer Harel Skaat, who are both gay, hosted the rally near the Kiriya military headquarters.

Clashes between protesters and police led to the arrest of five demonstrators., Ynet reported.

Several days earlier, the Israeli government said it remains opposed to allowing same-sex couples to adopt in the country in response to a Supreme Court petition.

Same-sex couples can be approved for adoption, but they can only adopt children for whom a heterosexual couple cannot be found. Consequently the same-sex couples are generally offered special needs or at-risk children, or older children who cannot be placed. Many same-sex couples adopt babies from other countries.

From my personal life experience, I counsel to be very skeptical about Israeli descriptions of the sizes of rallies. The photographs here are tightly cropped to make the event seem crowded, which is often a good indication that the news outlet is exaggerating. What the photos are showing is about two hundred demonstrators, which is two hundred too many, but not thousands.

Likewise, a few weeks ago the toevim were claiming “hundreds of thousands” participating in their Tel-Aviv march, but the entire country has less than 30 “hundred thousand” non-Charedi non-Arab adults, and most of them are conservative. For that disgrace I saw no photographs publicized at all, which is a further indication that they were grossly exaggerating the size.

Hey, I guess now I get to compare the Trump inaugural crowd to a toevah march! They were both huuuuuuge!

I don’t mean to minimize the horror of . . . either. Just wanted to point out that there is a tremendous amount of exaggeration and deception in play.

What are these people doing here in the first place? Why do they think they have a right to be in the holy land?

    One thing leads to another…

It doesn’t just stay in one area of kedusha…we are now seeing an explosion of heavy body tattoos and body piercing. It does look like society is falling apart.

As more people get involved into tumah, the more it increases its power, to the point of “everything corrupting their ways”.

The only solution is to run to the Torah and be strict about its observance.
