Jerusalem – More than 10,000 Israelis descended on the city of Modi’in for the joint funeral of Yosef, Chaya and Elad Salomon, who were butchered in their home in the Samaria town of Neve Tzuf on Friday night.

Yosef Salmon’s wife, Tova, was seriously injured in the incident while several other family members, who had gathered for Shabbat to celebrate a birth in the family, were home at the time of the attack but escaped unharmed.
Several hundred mourners formed a human chain from the Salomon home to the cemetery, with Israeli flags lining the winding road from Neve Tzuf towards the coastal plain.
Rabbi Yonatan Glass, rabbi of the community, eulogized the victims as a family that were centered “on spreading happiness.”
“Only a person with no glimmer of humanity could have acted against Yossi (Salomon) and his family. Yossi made everyone he was around happy. He was a generous donor, both to community causes and to poor families,” Glass said.
Ahead of the funeral service, Rafi Mendel, the husband of one of the surviving sisters, said the appropriate reaction to the terror attack would be to annex the West Bank.
“Please, God, grant your wisdom and understanding to our prime minister. It’s time to understand that we need to end the Palestinians’ illusions that they will ever have control over our land.
“It is time to impose our sovereignty over all of it,” Mendel said.
“Tovah had a difficult childhood. She had always said that Yosef was her compensation. How will she return home after this tragedy?” asked Tamar Hofi a family friend who lives opposite the bereaved family. Hofi said the terrorist, identified as 19-year-old Omar al-Abed from the Palestinian village of Kobar, had in all likelihood passed through her house first on the night of the attack and seeing that no one was home, moved on to the Salomon family home.
“This family has a circumcision celebration this week. How will they rejoice?” asked Hofi.
Elad city Rabbi Yisrael Porush eulogized the dead: “What can you say to a mother who protects her children from the angel of death dancing a floor below her? How can you console five orphaned children?”
And again….not a word …not from the White House ,or any news outlets, including ,yes you guessed it…NY Times ,Washington Post..ect !!!!
With so maney jews being killed in the last few weeks in israel. Maybe it’s not the safest place for jews to live there.
No word either from NK or Satmar or any of the groups who hate Israel and who want to return to a stateless medieval condition. Their cowardly arab allies will suffer for these disgusting attacks..

Right now EY isn’t the safest place for a Jew, middle of America or Norway, or Thailand are “safer”. But EY is the only place where Jews can defend Jews, if G-d forbid America or Norway become hostile toward Jews so Israel is the safest place. Israel was created so Jews can defend themselves. So yes, Israel isn’t the safest for a singular Jew but it’s the safest place for the Jewish nation. it’s about time we start viewing ourselves as a nation and not as singular Jews.
Israel is the only place where a terrorist can be treated, feels happy and confident tht he is in good hands!
Dumb dumb dumb,NUTTY GOVERNMENT
BDE.
Were they American citizens as well? If so has there been an American response /condemnation ?
Nebach. These terribly sad but totally misguided Jews say that only annexing the West Bank will help. This is the churban itself! These poor innocent Jews have no idea that they live in the lions den and can be attacked when any of them become upset. They r unhinged animals preying on you! Get the heck out of these dangerous places. We will annex all of israel with mashiachs arrival, may it be speedily in our days! H have mercy over ur children and help the family survive this horrific ordeal.
May we be able to revenge your blood!!! Bde. Sad we lost more hero’s & yet there are still idiots like #5 & others who would rather view lies as truth. Sadly, we lost our precious brothers & sister & this family will be scarred forever, but the Torah itself says it is a bracha to live in israel. It also state’s blessings & schuzim start there & spread to the rest of the world. Those who feel otherwise are like the miraglim who came out speaking lies about israel, just keep on mind what happened to them & stop talking badly of our only homeland. May you all see nothing but brachot aways
