Beijing – China’s U.N. ambassador is urging the international community to support President Xi Jinping’s new four-point proposal to end the decades-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict and establish an independent Palestinian state.

Ambassador Liu Jieyi said at a news conference Monday that China’s future diplomatic efforts will focus on trying to move toward a lasting and negotiated solution based on the four proposals.
Xi signaled China’s stepped-up engagement in the Middle East when he met recently in Beijing with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and outlined the proposal.
The four points are:
—Advancing the two-state solution.
—Upholding “the concept of common, comprehensive, cooperative and sustainable security” and immediately ending Israeli settlement building.
—Coordinating international efforts to put forward “peace-promoting measures” that entail joint participation.”
—Promoting development and cooperation between the Palestinians and Israel.
Amazing!!! China is in territorial dispute with most of its neighbors, yet they are giving peace plan advice to Israel! Takes major Chuzpah. Maybe Israel should give China advice on a peace plan!
Nice try. The four points are totally empty of content. Besides, the Arabs would never agree to them, no matter what they were.
The total incompetence of this Toxic ‘administration’ has created a vacuum of global policy and power, so Red China (and Russia) will fill it. So sad…
The real message, taken especially poignantly today, is we have to stand strong and do what we need to do to protect and defend our people. We need to be united and support Israel. Our current president is a reminder that we can only rely on H”KBH and ourselves. Any other expectations are going to dissappoint.
Ad a 5th point – that it should be taught in Israeli and Palestinian schools that we must love each other and forget all the differences, that we are all equal and people who hate are wrong…lalalalalalala
