“Outraged by expressions of antisemitism, neo-Nazism and racism,” wrote Netanyahu on the “PM of Israel” Twitter feed. “Everyone should oppose this hatred.”

One woman, Heather Heyer, was killed on Saturday by what police said was a deliberate attack by a man who rammed his car into a group of people engaged in a counter-protest to the white supremacist rally.

Netanyahu, like US President Donald Trump, has come under criticism for not reacting swiftly or strongly enough to the events in Charlottesville. Netanyahu is currently on a brief vacation from his office.

Netanyahu’s critics say that as prime minister of the Jewish state, he has an obligation to roundly condemn all manifestations of antisemitism and neo-Nazism, whether they occur in Iran, France or the United States.

Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer addressed the events in Charlottesville in a post on his Facebook page on Monday, calling the ramming “an act of terrorism” and saying that “the hate-fest on display there by neo-Nazis and klansmen was utterly despicable.”

Dermer said he spoke to Netanyahu about the events and that the premier “asked him to convey Israel’s outrage over the attack and over the expressions of antisemitism and racism.”

Netanyahu’s’ “exact words,” Dermer said, “were that these people should crawl back under the rock they came from.”

Education Minister Naftali Bennett, who also holds the Diaspora Affairs portfolio, was the first Israeli minister to respond to the events, saying on Sunday that “the leaders of the US must condemn and denounce the displays of antisemitism seen over the past few days.”

According to Bennett, “The unhindered waving of Nazi flags and symbols in the US is not only offensive toward the Jewish community and other minorities, it also disrespects the millions of American soldiers who sacrificed their lives in order to protect the US and entire world from the Nazis.”

Its ok. Dont harbor resentment on Bibi over not being there for the victims in Charlotsville. After all, his mentor was Vladimir Jabotinsky a total anti semite, nationalist and Zionist believeing that Judaism is a race. Hes not far from the idealists of the far right. Hed rather embrace it than condemn them. His words are a giant hoax.

Egoistic opportunist Netanyahu is at it again.

Netanyahu is ecstatic when there is antisemitism. This is and was always the goal of Zionism.

Atheist Theodore Herzl wrote that Zionism offered the world a welcome “final solution of the Jewish question.” In his “Diaries”, Herzl stated “Anti-Semites will become our surest friends, anti-Semitic countries our allies.”

World wide Torah observant Jews want nothing to do with Netanyahu’s statements.

Anybody who thinks that being secular and anti-Torah will save them from the anti-Semites is a fool. The Nazis didn’t care if you were Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, a complete Am Ha’aretz or staunchly anti-Zionist, they gassed you all the same. They didn’t even care if you were Jewish or not – all you needed was one Jewish ancestor in the previously 3 generations and you qualified for extermination.

We don’t need Netanyahu or other Israelis sticking their noses into our business. There is an old saying that “people in glass houses can’t throw stones. In EY, there is animosity and hatred between secular and ultra-Orthodox. There have been clashes and violence between those groups. In some cases, the animosity between those groups is worse than the Israeli-Palestinian problem. There is even animosity between different Chassidic groups in Israel. Even among secular Israelis, there are caste systems. For example, the Ethiopians are held in the lowest esteem. Before them, it was the Moroccan and North African Jews; any Jew who was dark skinned, and didn’t look like the European Jews was considered trefe. This attitude is still prevalent in housing, and employment. If one looks at Netanyahu’s cabinet, how many dark skinned Jews does one see?The same holds true for his Shin Bet security detail. Even Golda Meir once stated “You’re not a good Jew, unless you speak Yiddish”. The sephardic
Jews from North Africa, don’t speak Yiddish, and hence, felt insulted. Therefore, until the Israelis clean their own house, they have no right criticizing racial problems, in the USA.
