Washington – Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer said on Wednesday that President Donald Trump’s threat to shut down the government if he does not secure funding for a border wall with Mexico would lead to a shutdown that “nobody will like.”

“If the president pursues this path, against the wishes of both Republicans and Democrats, as well as the majority of the American people, he will be heading towards a government shutdown which nobody will like and which won’t accomplish anything,” Schumer said in a statement.

Trump needs someone to teach him how to count. There are fewer than 50 senators that are still willing to put up with him. That’s not enough to win a vote over which take-out joint to order lunch from.
So far the infantile partisan fighting has the Government already shut dow.
