New Jersey - New Jersey had more anti-Semitic hate crimes reported than any other state in 2008.
However, the Anti-Defamation League said the number of incidents reported in the U.S. declined for the fourth straight year.
The ADL said there were 238 incidents reported in the Garden State compared to 247 in 2007. However, other states saw fewer anti-Semitic incidents reported last year.
California was second with 226 incidents reported and New York was third with 207.
ADL regional director Etzion Neuer says the number of reports in New Jersey could be inflated compared to others because New Jersey has a large Jewish population.

As opposed to a state like, say, New York, which has absolutely no Jewish population whatsoever.

Is it a coincidence that NJ has the richest Jewish communities in the country? Just some food for thought.
