Boulder, CO - Deputy shoots Israeli Man After Struggle

Boulder, CO - A man displaying "bizarre behavior" and throwing rocks at a townhome window early Friday morning was shot by a sheriff's deputy after a struggle in which the suspect seized a Taser and pointed it at the deputy.

The Boulder Sheriff's Office identified the man as Cosmo Daniel Moshe Grill, 22, an Israeli citizen who moved to Boulder recently from New York City. The deputy who shot Grill is 31-year-old Lanie Delong, who has served with the Sheriff's Office for four years.

Grill is being treated for a wound that is not life-threatening.

Sad story. I hope he is not badly hurt.. Were they trying to tase him when he grabbed the taser? The police need more methods to incapacitate someone without causing permanent harm. I hope that he will receive proper psychiatric care.

Guess this guy thought since rock throwing is normal in Israel, that he could also do it here in America. Arabs do it all the time in Israel and get away with it.

at least its not like ny were they shot to kill.

Anyone who shoots at a person is shooting to kill. There's no other way to do it. This cop was just a bad shot, and needs more time at the range; the guy is lucky.

like in bp were the guy had a hammer they had to kill him shoting him in the leg would not be good for you?

There is no such thing as "shooting in the leg". When you aim at a person you aim at the torso. If you're not prepared to kill hiim you shouldn't be pointing a gun at him in the first place.
