This shows we need to vote, forget about jury duty & things like that, WE NEET to go out and VOTE to show the strength of our vote, our community’s need would met a lot faster if the politicians know they can lose a voting block like ours……

As I predicted, he created this crisis so that he can take credit for fixing it, and get our votes in exchange. Mike is a mater manipulator. We need to be extremely concerned.

This, and everything else in the budget, is dependent on the legislature approving the sales tax increase. Will we be writing letters to the Senators and Assemblymen?

Do these vouchers have anything to do with the vouchers that Rabbi Balkany was talking about on the radio last Moyzei Shabbos?

Another communist program in America’s first communist state! Even the phony republicans (like Bloomberg) are communists in NY. If you think this voucher program is a good thing, you deserve the bucket of communist filth you all live in.

Our Hakoras Hatov to the Mayor. Thank you Mayor Bloomberg for being the only one to stand up for the frum community in our time of need, B’H. It is good to know that the City Council did not stand up for our community but were lucky enough to have you stand up for us. We won’t forget this.

In these tough economic times for our Yeshivas, we need to send letters to City Hall and let the Mayor know that we appreciate that he stood up for us. I’m going to call 311 now and let the Mayor know that I am happy that he restored the vouchers, just call 311 and tell them you want to let the Mayor know we appreciate the after school voucher restoration. Lets Make a Kiddush Hashem

It’s good to have a Yid as Mayor, he has a Yiddishe Neshuma and heart. Even when the City Council didn’t support the funding, he made sure to restore it. I’m sure that he will get some heat from certain groups. Who can I call to let him know how I appreciate it, is there a number for someone?

So the taxes and sales taxes are ging up so that more people can swindle after school programs in place of tuition.
Don’t we hard working people deserve a break too? How come 30 yrs ago there were no programs and we didn’t need all this lobbying, and everyone was ok? Becuase without all these welfare programs which transalates in crazy high taxes for the wealth redistribution, there was enough $ to go around for all. All this welfare is killing the economy and doesn’t let a middle class person like me make a living whilst all the so-called “poor” have no problem, just go on welfare and all be well and don’t work. And there is no reason not to be lazy, and yes – go out to work if you are able-bodied!!
We arte supposed to give maaser, not chazhi of one’s income in taxes.
We are going to become like europe — one big welfare state.

It’s obvious he’s trying to buy our vote. Is it really worth it compared to all the other taxes increases and ticketing he’s done?? I don’t think so!!
