when we see how our brothers and sisters are in pain, its our duty to use the head and thinking. let's be clear this is not just happend,
our belives is that hashem controles this world and he never sleeps. so he is guarding us every minute, so the quastion is why did this happend. the answer is:
I don't know, however hashem loves us so mouch, that when start to forget that all our goodnes is from hashem. he send us a wake up call, and the more we are asleep the stronger he wakes us, so let not bee foolish.
and wait for a painfull tomorrrow.
let's start to do our duties on the earth by praying and lerning thora hakdosha, and try not to be masich daas from hashem,
as a baal tauva I can say: I had up and downs: when I did not pray and thinking and thanking for hashem things didn't go well.
when I pary and do what reb yosef korrrow says in shilchon ooricch,
things are going smoothly.

B'DE. There have been too many of these tragdies recently where people are driving after simchas. We have no way of knowing whether too much alcohol is a factor in these accidents or its just a coincidence. However, the facts are that the rate of fatalities and serious injuries for driving in EY is way above the average for most other countries. Maybe somone will be the first to draw a line and say NO MORE. Unless the simcha is a a local shul or catering hall where everyone is walking home, aybe serve a glass of wine for a toast to the chasan/kallah but not serve any other drinks. Again, we don't know the facts here but there have been too many recent similiar accidents.

They start to sit after the seven days. I do not think anyone from the Kalla's family passed away. They were just injured.

But the rest of the family is sitting. #3's comment still applies. And for the choson it's even worse; he has to put on a simcha that he can't possibly feel, and then sit shiva by himself next week.

stop this nonsense, please do not blame hashem for every calamity caused by our own doing, for instance if a yungerman started smoking when he was 16-17,and smoked two packs a day for the next 15-20 years, and burned up his lungs and got cancer and died, and left a widow with a housefull of yesoimim,do you blame hashem?,or do you blame him ,as he actually commited suicide,if someone talks on a cellphone while he crosses the street and a car kills him,it is not hashem that killed him,he commited suicide, hashem realy gave him many more years to live, but the idiot did not watch how he crossed the street because he was yacking on the phone.
g-d gave each and everyone of us BECHIRAH free choice, and we can use that free choice to cut our lives short,by driving while being tired,or intoxicated,by smoking, by over eating and cloging up our arteries,etc.etc.it is realy a copp out to blame hashem for our own misdeeds

to the person who said that israel has a higher rate of accidents. It's because the roads there are very narrow and alot of sharp curves where you cant see oncoming traffic till the last second. Hence you have alot of accidents

Why can’t people do some research? Israel has a very LOW rate of road death per capita when compared to other countries Yidden live in. Here is a small list of road deaths per 1000. Notice how Israel has a much lower rate per capita. Granted if you take into calculation “per miles driven” the numbers are different but Israel still comes very similar to USA, not as you claim as one of the worst.
Road fatalities
per 100,000
inhabitants
USA 14.7
South Korea 13.1
Belgium 10.2
Canada 9.1
France 7.7
Australia 7.7
Germany 6.2
Israel 5.9
UK 5.4
Road fatalities
per 1 billion
vehicle-km
South Korea 19.3
Belgium 11.1
Japan 10.3
Israel 9.6
Canada 9.2
USA 9.0
France 8.5
Australia 7.9
Germany 7.4
