The comment to some reporters by Sen. Kevin Parker of Brooklyn is one of the harshest criticisms of the governor by senators now in their third week of an internal power struggle that has shut down action in the Senate.
Parker's Democratic conference leaders quickly called for "civility and decorum."
As senators sought to go home for the weekend and resolve their dispute next week, Paterson ordered them to return to Albany indefinitely.
Paterson dismissed the comments as "distractions."
Paterson has admitted drug use when he was young and recent affairs during difficulties in his marriage.

At least it's only words this time. I'm surprised that Pugilist Parker didn't take a swing at the blind Governor who wouldn't have seen it coming. And to think that some in our community chose Parker over Simcha Felder!

Now we can see how low and dirty and rotten Loshon Hora is. Even when one non Jewish person says bad things about another, it is still ugly, and on a low level.
We just now can see three sedras in a row and they all talk about Loshon Hora. There was Miriam, and there were the miraglim, and there is Korach.
Also from our loss of the Bais Hamikdash, we all know how terribly devastating Loshon Hora is.

I suspect with our new justice department and more SC justices appointed by the new President, this guy could be in jail for quite a while. The supreme court could use a case like this to make some new law regarding the limits of the first amendment.

I do not particularly care for either of them but I think that Parker has a LOT of nerve to even open his mouth about Paterson's past! Paterson has already admitted it! We all know about it! Parker, at present, has more than enough on his own plate than to start antagonizing other members of his own party -- never mind, one that might have been able to help him in the future -- like get a pardon?????Maybe????

He did attend anger management classes in 2005 for punching a traffic agent. Last year a staffer accused him of being violent with her and breaking her glasses. He is currently awaiting the disposition of a case for punching a NY Post reporter - but that is leaning towards a second round of anger management classes and not jail time. Sen Parker has NO class and is nothing more than a loud mouthed boar who needs to be punished by the people and not re-elected. The Brooklyn DA is playing politics and not playing fair!
