Washington - Obama To Ahmadinejad's Apology Request: Worry About Yourself, Pal! |
|
"I don't take Mr. Ahmadinejad's comments seriously, about apologies," Obama said at a White House news conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
"I would suggest that Mr. Ahmadinejad think carefully about the obligations he owes to his own people," Obama said.
"He might want to consider looking at the families of those who have been beaten or shot or detained," added Obama, whose concerns about the validity of Iran's elections and complaints about the crackdown on protesters has rattled Ahmadinejad.
The bloody suppression of protests after the disputed June 12 elections exposed the authoritarian nature of the Islamic regime, Obama said.
"We see it and we condemn it," Obama said.
But Obama also made clear he was not cutting off the possibility of negotiating with Iran to stop the development of nuclear weapons.
In Tehran, a hard-line cleric called for the execution of "rioters" to end the unrest.
"I want the judiciary to punish leading rioters firmly and without showing any mercy to teach everyone a lesson," Ahmad Khatami told worshipers at Tehran University.
Iran's top legislative body, the Guardian Council, also said it had found no major violations in the presidential election that gave about two-thirds of the vote to Ahmadinejad.
The Council ignored a call to void the vote by moderate former Prime Minister Mir Hussein Mousavi, who finished a distant second in the official count

All of a sudden, Ahmenijad made it personal, and we finally hear from Obama. What happen to peace loving dialogue and finding blame in the Israel problem.
All of a sudden he sees the truth. What a fake, phony, and fraud. I can't believe Americans actually voted for this idiot.

President Obama is finally learning with whom he is dealing with. It began with north Korea and he should just bomb the korean ship to give Ahmenijad a message. Shape up or get ready to ship out.. The president is NOT "an Idiot" as #1 says just he hasn't figured out yet with whom he is dealing. He'll learn real quick!!

Meanwhile, while everyone is cheering the poor, innocent Iranian protesters, I look back in history and find those same people still remembering to say nothing about all the murders done by their fellow Muslims during the last thirty years!
Now, about the religion of love. Where were all these Muslims when their brothers were massacring and terrorizing and suicide bombing and raping other Muslims and Christians and Jews and Hindus and Buddhists in countries all around the planet? But now they want all those countries to support them?!
Did they ever, even one time say, "Stop the terror! Stop killing in the name of ala. Do not kill."
Did they? Did they ever? How about the other 54 Muslim countries, besides iran? Were they ever publicly concerned that Christians were being slaughtered? Did they ever complain when Hindus in India were slaughtered while riding on trains? Did they ever publicly complain about any terror attack anywhere in the world?
Have you ever seen even one Muslim leader of those 55 Muslim countries, speak out against terrorism?
