Brooklyn, NY - Williamsburg Experienced a Rash of Burglaries This Week |
|
Williamsburg, NY - No wonder they call it Williams-BURG!
Burglars ransacked the Southside, East Williamsburg, and Bushwick this week, raiding at least 16 residences between June 22 and June 28, police said.
The number of break-ins skyrocketed compared to the previous week — when crooks broke into five homes — and the same seven-day period last year — when thieves only raided two residences.
“The 90th Precinct experienced a rash of burglaries this week,” said Community Affairs Officer Tommy Brown, who urged North Brooklynites to lock their windows, doors, and vestibules before leaving their homes.
“Most of them are pretty simple, with perps going in through fire escape windows,” he added.
But that hasn’t made the crimes any less horrifying for Williamsburg and Bushwick residents.

most people don't even know to appriciate the hard work Shomrim / WSPU under the Leadership of Yanki Itzkowitz does for the community while they are sleeping or on their summer vacations. these dedicated Shomrim patrol members never sleep and all the time have members out on patrol watching our streets to remain safe and protect our propertys. it is crimes in the outer areas that bring up the attention and shows how hard our volunteers work for us.
lets go shomrim!!!
thank you shomrim!!!
when you see a shomrim member tell him thank you - say a good work for the hard working volunters that comes after a hard they at work!! -k-

I think I would never remember shumrims number amidst all the chaos. It's hard enough to dial 911 in an emergency but just in case can someone tell me please shumrim (Williamsburg's) number?

Of course I don't know for sure, but I almost guarantee that the staelers are involved with drugs.
Drugs bring down great entertainers and small time thieves. Drugs can bring down anyone.
However, there are plenty of poor people who will never steal. They have more dignity than all the big shots combined.
