I'm on the way back from there. This was a very big miracle bh! All Bucherim are out safe and were replaced for the night. Very minor damage to the Dormitory building. The big new beautiful Bes Medrash was untouched. They hope to have the Dorm reopened withing a few days. The Hatsula guys did a massive job.

Called a "Group" or Kehilla with a name is an issur d'eoyraysa. You have to follow up on your Semiras Halushen learing. Lebedig is when you make a good joke and you are mesamayach other people not on the chesbon of others.

Reb Meir,

If you don't have something good to say, don't say anything. Why do some people always just have to bash other heimishe people?

This building was a brand new building, built according to code, plus some more… It is a beautiful new building and it really makes a kidush hashem. The building was mostly donated by people who support torah. It is a beautiful spacious building surrounded by natural beauty so that the Bachurim can learn with הרחות הדעת.

If you are man enough, just post back 2 words: I apologize.

the reason the fire only stuck to the back part of the building is because it was built by code and a very good sprinkler system. so next time before shooting out "pickchus" and showing your knowledge in building codes think think think.

Following a couple of comments to all previous commenters:

First of all: Baruch hashem that everyone one was out on time.
Now here you go:

1) The building was built in a very fast and proffesional phase. However, NO building codes were passed on.
2) The building was built as a seperate part of the boys camp with it's own entrance for the bochurim of yeshiva ketana only but directly adjacent to the boys camp.
3) This new BOCHURIM camp consists (rather consisted) of two buildings. one bais hamedrash and one dormitory.
4) Currently, the yeshiva has 66 bocurim who utilized the dormitory. Both buildings were built in such a manner that it can be expanded if needed.
5) The bais hamedrash building has two stories. First floor. Kitchen, lunchroom, bathrooms. Second floor a big bais hamedrash sized for most probably over two hundred people
6) Yesterday was the offical chanukas habayis and kvias mezuzah the buildings which there was a big mesiba and seuda which finished about 8 pm. BTW reb cheskel roth shlit"a came
7) About 11 pm a bochur who was outside saw some flames coming out from the rear of the building which housed the electrical control panels, spriinkler motor etc. He came in running waking up all the bochurim who a lot of them were sleeping by then.
8) The boiler room is at the front of the building andd was not involved in the fire at all.
9) The flames from the rear portion mainly burst upon the ceiling / attic and therefore the smoke alarm did not go off as there was no smoke beyond the ceiling. The only place where there was smoke / fire was in the rear portion where the sprinkler system went off and in the first two rooms where it went off. B"H all bochurim were out in time and they were ALL accounted for even befor ethe fore dept. was there.
10) Hatzolah had been on standby with an ambulance in case which was b''h not necessary
11) Today the town of bethel building inspector was there to do an assesement
