Th event was called by the Edah HaChredit. The children recited teh Shema prayer, and were holding flags which read in Hebrew "Jerusalem was only destroyed because its inhabitants desecrated the Shabbat". (Talmud: Shabbat 119b)

Maybe the adults can learn some derech eretz from these yinglach. Note that they did not attack the police or throw rock or burn dumpsters.

Hi Mr. yid lover, The adults didn't throw rocks and didn't set dumpsters on fire, until after shabos, as an answer to the police brutality and as a reaction to the arrests of numerous innocent people.

This is probably similar to the JP headline in 1999 when there was a mass protest of over 500,000 people protesting against Aharon Barack. There was a counter demonstration that had a maximum of 1,000 people. More likely there was 200 people. The Jp had a large picture of the counter-protest and a small picture of the mass protest and it did not mention numbers.

This article is along the same lines.

Right.....and if you really believe that the police were the instigators of all the violence and those arrested were "innocent bystanders" you are more of an am'haoretz than I could ever have imagined.

If your stupid argument that the police are the instigators is, true them why was it calm today, that goes to show that you are wrong.

This is the sort of demonstration I can respect. While I may not 100% agree with the thought processes here, a respectful, appropriate and meaningful demonstration is a much better option than diaper bombing the mishtarah.

Therefore, if there was Shabbat desecration and yerushalayim was destroyed because of that, why don’t we see in the same Talmud the protest, that tells us that the need to protests is a new 21st century fashion?
