Paris, France – Four members of the militan Jewish Defense League were arrested today over an attack on a Paris bookstore run by pro-Palestinian activists.

The four, ages 16 to 26, were arrested in Paris and its suburbs on suspicion of trashing the store.
Masked vandals burst into the shop, armed with sticks and bottles of oil early Friday afternoon, smashing the computers and cash till, pulling books off the shelves and emptying bottles of oil on the floor.
Known for its support for the Palestinian cause, the bookstore in the northwestern 17th district of Paris has been attacked several times.
Following the incident, the MRAP anti-racism group repeated a call for a French ban on the Jewish Defense League, which was set up by a radical U.S. rabbi in 1968 to protect Jews from anti-Semitism.
France is home to Europe’s largest Muslim community, estimated at 5 million, and its largest Jewish population, about 600,000.
oh and when the arabs vandalize jewish sites it’s only reported as anti semitism and they get off the hook easy. this seems to me a typical double standered
This is a huge chillul Hashem but atleast they didn’t hurt anyone physically otherwise we wouldn’t hear the end of it. I just hope that the french do the same thing when the arab terrorists do somethings to yiddin!
there are going to be a few jewish bookstores attacked and some Jews by the same occasion, Muslims won’t stay quiet… “good job” next time they should get ready for holier things on erev shabbos instead of doing that

No one seems to realize that the books sold there were probably full of hate libel & incitement against jews, and this may well have been an act of well intended self defense.

Are you crazy? If this Jewish Defense Ligue really did this, there is nothing to justify it. It is illegal, it is damaging of property, you do not do it, let alone the retaliation french jews could expect.
Well, I do not adocate violence an I certainly do not support Chillul HaShem. HOWEVER, I am fed up with being the world’s punching bag, and I am furious at those rabidly mutant single-cell life forms that inexplicably descned from Avraham avinu! frankly, it’s about time we gave them a taste of their own medicine. The world hates us and nothing we do to avoid that will change it. They consider out view of others as weakness. Their job is to get t paradise; our job is to help arrange a meeting!
