Youssouf Fofana, 28, who was sentenced to life in prison, was one of 27 people on trial in the kidnapping, torture and murder of Ilan Halimi, who was 23 years old.
Halimi was found naked, handcuffed and covered with burn marks near railroad tracks in the Essonne region south of Paris on Feb. 13, 2006. He died on the way to the hospital after being held captive for more than three weeks.
Fofana's sentence means he will have no possibility of parole for 22 years.
As the verdict was announced, Fofana mimicked applause.
His main accomplices were given sentenced of 15 to 18 years.

Gut Voch-- let us not forget that the French are the scum Anti-semites of the earth and they will soon pay the price of the millions of Arabs in their country. Scondly, Jewish blood has always been cheap!!! The fact of the "closed trial" in itself was a mockery like the Dreyfus Affair another great sign of French scummetry.
The trial sentences meted out in comparison to the brutality of the crime is indicative of French indifference. May the entire anti semitic French goyish nation pay the deserved price for their actions and indifference.

can't compare american law and sentences to french one, as it could sound really "ridiculous" to get 150 years when the person can't even live that long, it's all in the symbol that for what he did he would deserve that much if he could live until he serves a prison sentence he deserves. I sure think that Fofana deserves more than 22 years, he should definately spend the rest of his life in prison, but it wouldn't change the fact that he has followers outside and as a leader, even from prison, he would be able to still spread his hatred. It reminds me of a book "mein kampf"...
