New York, NY - The billionaire mayor is a Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-independent. He has already secured two ballot lines for this year's election -- the Republican line and the Independence Party line.

But his campaign is collecting signatures for something called the Jobs and Education Party.

It's essentially a marketing trick.

Bloomberg is already running on two lines, so the words "Jobs and Education" would just be added to one of the existing lines.

The ballot would say "Republican/Jobs and Education" or "Independence/Jobs and Education."

Jobs and schools are top concerns for city voters.

Campaign spokesman Howard Wolfson says it's another way to communicate with voters.

Tell him he does not have to communicate with me all he has to do is send in a check for $3000. That's what my tax, ticket hikes cost me since he took office (by the way I will give some to Ohel, mekimi & to the other org. From this money so he does not have to use my tax money)

Another ridiculous stunt by our Billionaire Mayor. Does he really think anyone will be fooled by this one? I think he should donate more of his money to help the poor (that includes the working poor) instead of spending it on such stuff. Give us a break already Mr. Mayor!!!

I voted for him and I can't believe this nonsense. He has the ability to do a good job but gets involved with things that detract from it.
