Jerusalem - Judge Places Gag Order On Accused 'starving mom' Case |

Accused mom in outside court room
The court's president, Judge Shlomit Dotan, had been expected to decide where the boy would be transferred after he was nursed back to health at Jerusalem's Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
The mother of the three-year-old boy was reunited with her family on Friday, after the court agreed to place her under house arrest.
The woman, a resident of the Mea She'arim neighborhood and a member of the Toldot Aharon hassidic sect, is expected to be charged with child abuse in the middle of the week.
Meanwhile, Rabbi Avraham Froelich, who has been hosting the mother at his home and supervising visits with her children, expressed hope that the case was nearing an end, but added that he doubted it really was.
"We hope the whole saga is over, I doubt it is, but we hope it is over and done with," Froelich told Israel Radio.
"We are all feeling very fatigued, so is the family, so is the mother. I think that now is the time for a break for us all, including for the media. You worked very hard," the rabbi said, indicating the constant coverage of the case since it was announced to the public earlier in July.
"The children have not left their mother's side... so please take this into consideration, it is not a coincidence, the relations between the mother and her children are not [like those in] a regular case.
"I think there is something that we can all learn from here," he added.

I read in the one of the weekly Jewish magazines, that the kid is being pumped up with unnatural stuff (could be steroids) in order to gain weight, after they stopped giving him chemo, all this to increase their cover up, and to point the finger at the mother.

There could be multiple reasons for the gag order and little reason to speculate. For example, they may be moving the child and want to protect the child from media attention or lessen the chances of a successful a kidnapping attempt by the mother's supporters (which has happened with bodies the charedi have not wanted the police to retain). Alternatively, the prosecution may need more time to develop certain aspects of their case.

Many people are asking why this strange and unusual saga is now unfolding before the wondering eyes of the Jewish people. It is indeed strange to put a pregnant woman in prison on the ridiculous pretense that she “starved” her son – while he was on around-the-clock care in a hospital.
Not only this, but also the pretext that this must be done in order to “protect” her children [which she is not even allowed to see] – and at the same time showing complete disregard for the obvious danger and damage to her unborn baby [on account of the ongoing trauma the mother is being subjected to].
However the numerous additional absurd details [which have been recognized even by the totally non-religious media also] of these shocking events are not what is important for us to know. The important question is: what is the message to Am Yirsoel from all of this and what should we do now? Why is Hashem allowing such strange and unusual things to happen, illogical and cruel events of a type that we have not been accustomed to?
In regard to this question, the autistic messages have been sent to help us understand what is going on in the world and what Hashem wants us to do. These special neshomas are again providing us with important insights into the present events. We will therefore try to convey here some of their important insights [which speak for themselves for those who are capable of recognizing Truth].
The autist Binyamin Golden has pointed out the central message: “We have lost our shimra [divine protection]!” He explains that until now women were on a higher spiritual level then men, and therefore they were protected from above from things such as being thrown into jail. However, relatively recently the general spiritual level of the Jewish People has declined, and women have also declined, and are therefore being treated like the men were. [This is already the second case recently of a mother being imprisoned.] This message should be very clear to those who are interested in knowing and following the truth.
The primary reason for this disastrous spiritual decline [and the shocking consequences of it that we are seeing all the time] has been spoken about at length in the autistic messages, which should be read by anyone who wants to know what is happening and what to do. The root of this evil they call the “Egel Hazahav” [“excessive materialism”], which is highly poisonous for all aspects of spirituality. Today’s modern way of life is permeated with exaggerated materialism and causes callousness to spiritual matters, distances us from Hashem and redirects people’s lives into completely different and non-Torah directions. There is one thing that I really can't understand in this story. Let's just say for arguments sake that this mother has systymatically been removing her son's feeding tube for the past 6 months or so that the child has been hospitalized. Where were all the hospital staff all this time? The mother had to remove the tube, empty the bag and get rid of any evidence that she had done anything. Also. the kid is over 3 years old, and during all this time, he never uttered a word to any other family members, hospital staff or vounteers that were taking care of him?
If it really is true, then the hospital staff are equally to blame. Not because they didn't suspect that she had this syndrome earier, but rather, that in the past 6 months they didn't catch her "by mistake"

I heard that on Aron Klein. He interviewed a parent of a roommate of the boy. He didn't mention unnatural substances, though. He said that they were stuffing him up with all kinds of chicken and beef. While, just before the incident, they were warning not to give him anything.

Israelis have experience in kidnapping and ruining peoples lives. It is not beyond them to have done this all to hurt the mother. Or any other political gain, even as a laugh by some israeli official or a slight by the mother to some arrogant israeli could have brought this about. Having said that, it could also be the mother who is sick. Probably not, but possible. So let's wait and see what happened.

child moved to another hospital. the head of hadassa ein keren onco, Dr. Michael Weintraub went along with a police escort, trying ot get into the new hospital with the kid. New hospital told him there will be no circus there. Why does the head of onco have to go on a transfer? Why did Hadassa want the police with them? Where are the medical records of this kid??? Aha! till now when most bloggers thought the mother was guilty, you were very comfortable with all hateful comments on the innocent mom, all of a sudden, when the story took a sharp turn in favor of the mother you come running to all defenders to keep quiet..

Interestingly HAGTBG stands for 'How Autism Got to be Gilgul,' which was the first topic I made a posting on. Facilitated communication (which would be used by the 'autist'), which was briefly accepted clinically has been discredited for over 15 years now. Your reliance on this means you have no credibility. [For those that do not know, an autist is simply an autistic person. Facilitated communication uses a facilitator to hold the autistic person's hand in a particular fashion to help guide it to the correct letter on a letter board. By putting the letters together, sentences are made and the autistic person 'speaks.' However, it was determined that, in fact, the facilitators were subconciously guiding the autistic person's hand so that, in fact, people were reading what the facilitator expected the autistic person to say. It amazes me how everyone has an opinion it is just baffling I would not want to jump to conclusions since I have not done my own investigation but I can be very reassuring that ALL of you that have formed an opinion before knowing all facts would never and should never be allowed to sit in on a trial. I have lived thru hell in hospitals, the arrogance incompetent and neglect of just one staff member or one selfish doctor is all you need to ruin the best reputation in a blooming institution and all you need is a dumb stupid anti reporter and poof it veers out of hand. It must be the same reporters that decided that the Mezuzah in the hospitals is the culprit for spreading disease ask me and your hair will fly off your head once you hear the truth) so come on there are so many issues when it comes to a very delicate situations of such, and it is extremely unfair to condemn the mother till you know all facts - no you do not know what happened what made the mother refuse treatments, I just see one problem the hospital is to have the intellect to make sure that its patients feel they are getting the best available treatment. Physical and mental environment has to be a healthy one and it's priority, they are the ones getting paid so they have to give the professional services. The patients have the right and it is their duty to make sure that this is the case and no institution can say you’re ruining my reputation. Only they ruin their reputation by behaving in bad mannerism, or do not offer the correct service. Interesting enough to all of you that have formed an opinion that you do not even know that a Hospital like Hadassah has kept this patient (no matter of its age) in the oncology ward even though it does not have cancer! Again you all have a very blind opinion the hospital came up with a condition for this mother without a psychiatric evaluation and yet all of you agree. The media is doing a very powerful job and who will suffer only Hadassah Hospital. Don't forget people a hospital gets 750,000.00 dollars per cancer patient why should Hadassah want to forfeit it?? Please wake up. You may be the next medical culprit. I hope you all won't feel like idiots after the verdict. It is Sunday afternoon and the verdict in this case is in that the kid will be leaving Hadassah this should of happened when the parents wanted to take him out a long time ago and will be cared for at a different institution. Lets see what files go along with this child, or is it only going to be that the mother did not feed the kid. Will they include all the meds they used for trial purposes as in a guinea pig. Exact dates when they decides to keep food from the child that the mother was fighting and then they went behind her back that Hadassah Hospital does not want the world to know about. The mother was found to be a caring mother and not sick as you have been fed by the anti religious media, no she is not a killer, nor did she starve her child. I really hope you will all be able to sleep tonight!

It's a conspiracy to cover up malpractice. very simple, as it was in today's news about NYC hospitals, and of course if it's a secular against a charedi, it will naturally get the Israeli gov't support.

If the mother suspects that they're learning and experimenting on her son, she has all the right to trust her own instincts. For the future, it would probably be a good idea to say out loud the reason for doing the seemingly wrong doing to prevent it from being used against the caretaker.

Unfortunalely you're right about this. The important thing to remember is that there's a bigger risk in believing the hospital than there is in believing the mother. Besides for which the Israeli govt. has won the liar's competition in every contest.

I must disagree. I have an autistic sister and about 11 years ago, our family first heard about FC. We went to a woman in Monsey who was trained in FC, to learn more about it. I was there with my parents and autistic sister. The lady used a board with letters and held my sister's hand while my parents asked questions. My sister pointed to letters one after another while I quickly jotted down the letters as she pointed. I couldn't understand the answers right away because she was pointing quickly and I didn't know when one word ended and the next one started so I just wrote the letters one after another. When the sesion was over, we analyzed the answers and figured out where the letters formed a new word and we were astounded! There was no way that lady could have directed her hand to point to those letters because she simply did not know the answers to those questions. My sister gave some really interesting answers to some questions, we could see that it was her Neshoma answering.
I don't know about the Gilgul issues, but we are all Gilgulim of another Neshoma in a previous lifetime. It is an undisputable fact that autistic kids have special Neshomos.
It's possible that there are those who know how to do FC and then there are those who pretend to know... Just like acupuncture, herbal medicine, etc.
