New York - Holocaust Denier David Irving to Take Message to New York City |

"In the fall, I'll be in the New York area," said Irving, when reached on his cell phone Friday. "I won't go into specifics."
That's probably because Irving, who once claimed that Adolf Hitler knew nothing about the slaughter of 6 million Jews, is not likely to get a warm reception.
"Let's put it this way, if he comes to New York, he will be confronted by truth and justice," said Elan Steinberg, vice president of the American Gathering of Holocaust Survivors and their Descendants. "That's how you deal with hate and provocation."
A British professor who recently served a year in an Austrian jail for violating that country's law about denying the Holocaust, Irving has quietly been criss-crossing the country and speaking to small groups.
Irving, 71, was in Chicago and preparing to give a lecture claiming that the number of Jews who went to the gas chambers is overblown when he was tracked down by a Daily News reporter.
The author of nearly 30 books, Irving has contended that most of the Jews, Poles and others who died in the German concentration camps were killed by diseases such as typhus.

I truly don't understand the justice behind, locking someone up "just" for denying the holocaust, if he doesn't want to believe, let him, this guy absolutly is either an attention seeker or perhaps mentaly I'll.

How come we let HIM in, but Savage was banned from the UK? Who is more dangerous? (If anyone says Savage, there are no words to describe you.)
We must find out where he'll be performing & bombard the organizers with protests. If he does get to show up, we should be there, en masse, & not leave it to young people only. Older Chassidim & all Jews no matter their affiliation should be there, dressed in mock camp garb. Those who loy aleinu have tattoos...front & center!!!

Unfortunately the "Holocaust Museum" had ignorant "deciders" who decided on the wrong people to give testimony. However, tapes and videos from the Shoah foundation in Los Angeles have been transferred to the museum and if knowlegable people are available he could be rebutted

There are enough expert historians on the Holocaust who can challenge his revisions. He is 71 years old that means if he doesn't drop dead soon, we might have to listen to this British byproduct for 2 more decades.

I must disagree with your statement. I am a holocaust survivor and have spoken before large audiences and gave video testimony which is deposited in the Yale library and also at the Shoah foundation. One simple fact nobody mentioned when the Catholic prelate [a friend of Irving] denied the gas chambers. In Ausschwitz they were the "Kanada' commando and in Treblinka Aufraeumungskommando these were Jews kept alive and send by the SS into the gas chambers to extract gold teeth and do other grisly tasks. Why did not all these expert historian not bring up this fact. Unfortunately these "historians" read books I heard testimony and spoke to the few alive who worked in the gas chambers. I have heard and read too many statements by historian which are loy hoyo v'loy nivro

Are you reffering to the Holocaust Museum in Washington? What are you trying to say? the museum has great testimony from hundreds of real Holocaust survivers, including my grandparents. They do a great job of keeping the memories alive. What do you have against them?

And make a circus of oursleves? Enough. This evil being is a cockroach who wants nothing other than to inflict pain on the people who he hates most - the Jews. Why do you want to lower yourself to crying and kvetching because of some lowlife antisemite is barking at the moon? Who takes this guy seriously? Most people see through these bigoted revisionists eventually, provided they have an IQ above 12. My point: don't lend gravitas to this lunatic by making a sideshow of yourself, or by supporting his arrest for exercising free (albeit evil and insane) speech.

Did anyone ever explain how we Jews got the Germans to admit to the holocaust that they didn't commit and then pay billions in reparations for something that didn't happen? My favorite is when Arabs claim the holocaust never happened, The Jews made up the fact that Germans killed Jews in Poland so they would able to take land away from Arabs in Asia. Exactly how and why that should work I still don't understand, and therefore the Jews are like Nazis, which is really meaningless because the same group says the holocaust didn't happen. Only Arabs...
