Washington - Hillary Fed Up, Eyeing to Get Back Her Senate Seat?

Washington - Hillary Clintonis said to be frustrated with her lack of authority as secretary of state and resentful of the glacial pace of the White House vetting process.”

President Obama’s picks fly in even if they didn’t pay their taxes. But her picks take forever,” noted one Democrat. “Plus, she has no real clout over Holbrooke or Mitchell.”

Richard Holbrookeis Obama’s “special representative” for Afghanistan and Pakistan.
George Mitchellis “special envoy” to the Middle East.

Clinton is said to be considering quitting to retake her old US Senate seat now held byKristin Gillibrand—or running for governor, as one rumor has it. “Her argument will be that Gillibrand is in danger of losing the seat to the Republicans,” said a source.

But Gillibrand won’t voluntarily step aside, unlike Rep. Nita Lowey, whom Clinton nudged out of the race in 2000. “You couldn’t blow Gillibrand out of that seat with dynamite,” said our source.

This immoral woman is of a family of white trash. She, from the time she hugged Suha Arafat after a speech accusing the Israeli army of poisoning arab children's water supply, has consistently been an adversary of the State of Israel. Her only deed that might be misconstrued as pro Jewish, was arranging the presidential pardon for the Sqver askonim, and that was sheer corruption. If she can't find an appropriate job, she might consider doing windows at the White House.

I can hardly wait for this pathological liar to return to New York and tell us what a great friend of Israel she is. She is nothing but an opportunist and those stupid liberal Jews bought her lies last time. Maybe this time they will remember what a total fraud she is and will elect a good Conservative who loves the United States and not a two-timer like Madam Hillary.

Hillary has lost her status in NY and I don't think she would be reelected as Senator. Her true colors show again and again. Remember the incident when she blasted a student for asking about "the President" and she thought they meant her husband, not Obama. And her change in position about Israel and the Arab countries ? She is heartless and cold and needs to stay where she is. Obama can control her by sending her to outposts and hiding her from the press as much as possible. If he does not, her mouth will keep getting her in trouble.

Follow the money -- as long as Hillary is Secretary of State and a part of the Administration, Bill can't run around the world making his speeches to Arab groups, business lobbyists and other questionable characters and knocking down a cool $100,000 a pop for maybe an hour's work, disguised as a "donation" to his presidential library -- a little sideline which has made the Clintons multimillionaires since he left office in 2001. They have to live on her Cabinet officer's salary -- $196,700, with no outside income from questionalbe sources allowed. Nice money to you and me -- but the Clintons have been rolling in the big dough for so long, it's like being back in the poorhouse when Bill was only earning about $35K as Governor of Arkansas and Hillary was the real breadwinner of the family as a partner in the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock (the law firm with those mysterious billing records which kept disappearing). If she leaves the Administration, he can go back to the lecture circuit again and the Clintons are once more in the money.

Hillary's wanting to now ditch what initially had seemed like a prestigious, high-profile dream job, fourth in the line of succession -- it's not quite the presidency which she so clearly wanted, but not a bad consolation prize -- and go back to her old job as just another low-seniority junior Senator, if Kristin G. will even let her, would seem to bear out the wise old adage "be careful of what you wish for -- because you just might get it."

she didnt beg. in fact she had no intention of joining the obama admin and wanted to return to the senate to be come the next ted kennedy. the fact that obama asked her to do state came as a surpse and an oppurtunity she took because she would maybe regret in the future not taking the chance,

Look in the mirror sometime. If "lack of achdus" and "fighting among themselves" are characteristics of non-Jews, then I guess large swaths of Jewry (including frum Jews) are not Jewish either.

Fighting amongst themselves is a characteristic of goyim?! Have you never noticed the phenomenon of two jews three opinions? Of the hatred between orthodox/conservative/reform and between every little splinter within the orthodox?

You are a naive individual. She is power hungry and took the SOS job because she thought she would be able to run the country's foreign policy. When she found out that Hussein had other plans for her (having sent her off on a mission to nowhereland, Africa, his birthplace) she took the hint and started packing.

just curious....doesn't every former president receive a (large) pension, secret service protection etc for the rest of their lives? sure seems that between his pension and her salary, they shouldn't be too cash strapped...

Keep drinking that Clinton Kool-Aid.

According to Wikipedia (hardly part of the supposed right-wing media attack machine liberals often complain about), "The Clinton [presidential library] facility was funded to a large degree by donations from foreign governments, receiving a $10 million dollar donation from the royal family of Saudi Arabia. [132]" The underlying Washington Post article from which that information is taken (12/15/07), also notes that Hillary's presidential campaign "has for months faced questions about the source of the money for her husband's presidential library;" says that despite numerous promises to reveal such sources, Clinton's library still "has steadfastly declined to reveal its donors, saying they were promised confidentiality;" and notes that Barack Obama (hardly a member of Hillary's fabled "Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy") made a major ethics issue over this.

The paper noted that "A handful of major donors' names to the Clinton library were disclosed in 2004 when a New York Sun reporter accessed a public computer terminal at the library that provided a list of donors. Soon after the article appeared, the list of donors was removed."

The article further pointed out that the Post, through its own investigation and with no help from either of the Clintons, found that "several foreign governments [other than the Saudi royals] gave at least $1 million, including the Middle Eastern nations of Kuwait, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the governments of Taiwan and Brunei. In addition, a handful of Middle Eastern business executives and officials also gave at least $1 million each, according to the [Post] interviews. They include Saudi businessmen Abdullah al-Dabbagh, Nasser al-Rashid and Walid Juffali, as well as Issam Fares, a U.S. citizen who previously served as deputy prime minister of Lebanon."

Wikipedia further stated that while his wife was a Senator, Bill gave "dozens of paid speeches each year, earning $100,000 to $300,000 per speech.[125] According to his wife's Senate ethics reports, he earned more than $30 million in speaking from 2001 to 2005.[126] In 2007, it is estimated he amassed around $40 million from speaking.[127]"

So Mr. Clinton may have been doing some good -- but he surely was also doing pretty well.

every president has a presidential library. would you rather the taxpayers fund it? Kuwait is a country with hakaras hatov to the US because we helped fee them after saddamhussein invaded in 1990/91. the UAE is a friendly nation with the US that Bush increased ties and relationships and business with. he wait didnt saint bushie sell congtrol of our ports to Dubai??? gimme a break. you are being fair weathered and stupid here, like a typical blind yeshivoishe partisan who never went to school.
