Assemblyman Hikind cited Bill’s commitment to addressing key issues important to middle-class New Yorkers, including jobs, schools, and the rising costs of housing, transportation, water rates, sales and property taxes, as reasons why he is the better choice to lead New York City.

“I’ve known Bill Thompson for 30 years and he is one of the most decent, caring people you will ever meet,” Assemblyman Hikind said today. “He’s been a dear friend and someone I’ve stood with over the years, and there is no doubt in my mind that he will be a great leader for New Yorkers all across our City. I am proud and delighted to stand here today and endorse Bill Thompson for mayor.”

Of the endorsement Bill said, “I am proud and honored to stand here today with my friend Assemblyman Dov Hikind and accept his endorsement for mayor of New York City.

The announcement appears to be the first public endorsement for Thompson coming from a lawmaker that represents the Charedi Jewish community.

Meanwhile one of the most widely read Charedi publication, Mishpacha Magzine has endorsed in this weeks edition NYC Mayor Bloomberg.

Dov is just willing to support the biggest spenders like the typical NY Democrats tend to do. At least Bloomberg cut a lot of wasteful agencies and programs over the years.

This time again I’m with Dov. Because it looks like Bloomberg will win shouldn’t be the overriding factor in endorsing him. Let’s stand for principle.

I just don’t get it, hes been in the wrong again again and again.

Bloomberg is not the best but definitely better then Thompson who’s going to waste and sink this city into more waste.

We need to replace local politicians as well

lets get conservatives like John Heyer back and up the results in the next election we can do it, were a big voting block in this district

    THANKS DOV!!!
That shows that you really are a man of principals and you care about the people you represent!
we are all hurting here in Boro Park, we know that this money-hungry-man will win, no one can fight a 200Mil grabbing power spree, some very tough times are ahead of us, nothing will stop this money man to ‘balance the city sheet’ and rob us in broad daylight, everyone who owns a house or a car knows what I mean,
We will look up to you Dov, to voice our pain, and fight for what’s human,
Dov, It’s the second time recently that you prove that you’re a real mench, when you opposed the robbery fancy named “congestion- pricing” …. and now with supporting Thompson, yes we remember,
I wish you a lot of Hatzloche,

Now lets take a look how the next 4 years is going to be under (heaven help us) under the Bloomberg administration.

For the first 3 years he is going to tax us to death, meters will be only 15 minutes, parking violations will rise to 200 dollars, half of Manhattan streets will close for bikes, there will be more traffic agents then fireman, policeman, sanitationman and single man.

He will even tax the death with real estate tax.

And his salesman is Ein “Simcha” alu B’buser the leader of the 18% increase in real estate tax-is BP in trouble

And the 4th year he will try to get the City Council to vote that he can run a 4th term,
the mayor and his staff must be insane thinking that because he spoke at the Boro Park Jewish Council (where Rudy screwed up and put his foot into his mouth) and the people that lead this event (who are the same people who ran to City Hall to be photographed with Rudy one day after Gedion Busch was shot by police in Boro Park because they called them selfs leaders and stated that the Police were right) are just a bunch of goons who sold out a yiddish neshuma who was killed on the streets of Boro Park.

Do any of the readers think for one moment if Mr. K’s or Mr. R’s son would have been killed that day and I would run to City Hall to state that Police were right? what some people wouldn’t do for a photo.

You should have listned to Rabbi Yesha Balkany last motzie shabbos on the Zev Brenner show and you would understand why NOT to vote for Bloomberg.

Today, Bloomberg speaks to yeshiva adminstrators to let them know that he will give them the entire city check book that has no money GREAT

Mr. Bloomberg, chopper 1 is ready to lift you off City Hall grounds and take you to Detroit.

Shame on Simcha Felder for selling us out for a few alternate side parking days and a few computers for our Yeshivos.
    We need REAL help!!!
Parents are drowning in tuition bills and he talks about textbook assistance. Our votes for crumbs??

Simcha- why are you selling yourself and our community for nothing??

Want to talk about a record? What about Thompson’s thirty year record of excellence in government? Bill Thompson is clearly admired by people from all walks including the most respected of our community. Dont let the Bloomberg pressure/money machine fool you. Bill Thompson has an outstanding record as city Comptroller and an even more impressive record when dealing with our community. Ask any of the senior Askonim off the record.
Bloomberg has not been the great friend of our religious community as he now purports. The facts speak loud and clear.
Our mosdos and instituitions need real help. Bloomberg has not delivered. Will Thompson? Don’t know, but the last eight years have been back breaking for our community and our small businesses. Enough is enough.
The Mayor has been adequate at best.
It is time for a change.

Bottom line how can you trust somone who gave his word, thats right “gave his word”
that he would not overturn the law and run again. A law that was voted on by the citizend twice. The old saying fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Emperor Bloomberg can not be trusted. HE BROKE HIS WORD.
