Killeen, TX – At lease seven people are dead and 12 wounded in a shooting at Fort Hood Army Base in Killeen, the base’s the public affairs office told NBC News on Thursday.

The official would not give his name nor additional details. It was unknown whether victims are soldiers or civilians. Incident has taken place at the sports dome, now known as the soldier readiness area.
One gunman was reportedly in custody and another was on the loose, NBC News said.

Fort Hood is a massive military complex, mamesh like a city. The biggest military base in the world! Texas reports say that one shooting was in a theater and a second in a second location, with a possible third site. No outsider can get into that place without the proper ID. This must be one of those cases where soldiers back from Iraq snapped.

I’m getting messages from friends who have friends at Fort Hood. The shooting happened at several different locations throughout this massive compound. One of the areas of the shooting was at 4th Infantry Division location and other possible location was from 1st Cavalry. 9 dead, 4 military SWAT members are wounded from the standoff. It’s the largest base in U.S. military with 50,000 members and families living there.

Drudge report is reporting the name of the shooter is Major Malik Nadal Hasan, which sounds like a muslim name, so he might be a US soldier, but he is a muslim which probably infiltrated the army in order to do this terrorism act

First reports said the shooter(s) used an AK47 rifle, then they changed it to handguns. How on earth could he get away with shooting 40 people merely with handguns? Doesn’t make sense……..
