Jerusalem - “Satan in the form of a rov” are the words the children who suffered abuse at his hands use to describe Elior Chen, the man currently sitting in jail awaiting trial.

A year and a half after the story came to light and the day after a serious charge sheet was filed against Elior Chen, the children spoke out for the first time since the extradition to Israel two weeks ago, in an exclusive interview for Israeli news site Kikar

They have not forgotten the suffering they underwent, relive those harrowing moments, feel the burns and scars left on their bodies and the loss of the mother serving a prison sentence.

Their little brother, who remains in a “vegetative” state, makes it impossible for them to forget the horror. Yesterday he visited his home for the first time in 18 months, lying on a special bed that cost thousands of dollars, silently gazing as his happy siblings surrounded him.

The children have heard the various claims Elior Chen is innocent, making them boil with rage. “Our bodies are full of burns and scars from what he did. How can someone say it didn’t happen?” Another child notes that there are people who deny the Holocaust happened.

Upon hearing the name Elior Chen preceded by the word “rov,” the children burst out in objection. “He’s a rov? He’s Satan disguised as a rov.”

They say they will never forgive him. “There is no mechiloh for what he did to our family. All of the children were injured. Ima’s in prison. He took the building we built up and dismantled it.”

Elior Chen’s father, who claims his son is innocent, has stated he wishes everyone could have such a tzaddik for a son. In response one of the girls in the shattered family says, “I wish his sons were like my little brother, the one lying as a ‘vegetable’ in the hospital.”

Were Elior Chen’s fate left in the hands of the children he abused, he would suffer a similar fate. “I would burn him until he died, just like he burned me,” says one of the boys. “I would cut him up with a sword,” adds another.

Their father is also enraged over Elior Chen’s claims of innocence. “He has a lot of chutzpah not to admit to it. That’s part of his wickedness. This man is dangerous. Even if he spends 30 years behind bars, he’ll still be a danger to the public.”

Time has not healed the wounds. The father does not work, but spends all his time taking care of the eight children. They live in hiding. Their friends at school have no inkling of the nightmare they went through. They always keep their scars out of sight and never have friends visit their motherless home.

Nebach! I feel so bad for these children. I hope they will one day be able to move on and live a "normal" life. This "rov" has a lot of nerve to deny that he hurt them!!

I consider myself a tough guy. Recently I was trying to recount to my wife the horrible "alleged" tales of abuse that these boys suffered, and I couldnt continue. I broke down crying. It is horrible beyond measure, cruel beyond words, heartless beyond measure. May Hashem have mercy on us all

I have heard such confusing reports about what went on. Can someone say what he is accused of doing? (I wont say he is guilty cuz I obviously do not know anything about the case).

elior chen manipulatively convinced the mother to get divorced and at the time that all the abuse was happening, they were separated and the father was in the usa-his native country

A. I'm not really sure why everyone is hiding the name of the family when it is common knowledge.

B. The mother is in prison for listening to this idiot and carrying out horrific acts against her children. She needs therapy badly.

C. The father let all this go on. He needs therapy badly.

D. I don't understand where the chosheve grandparent is. There is a normal side to this family. Are they involved? I hope so.

E. Chen's parents should be punished too. For raising a sick person who could do this and lying about what a tzadik he is.

Good point. Where are all the Kolko defenders? Where are all the Mondrowitz protectors? Maybe Chen Sr. should get a 'posaik' from the OU to recruit his old buddy, a well-padded rosh yeshiva in Y-M to convene bais din's version of a kangaroo court to declare that with no actual penetration there was no abuse. I'm sure it still takes a ton of maaser money to run a yeshiva in Mattersdorf.

I cried when I read what happened to these kids, what an outrage, I cant bear to think about it.. chalila it should ever happen again. This rasha Chen was not the only one, he had followers who did the abuse and the mother was also guilty of abuse and standing by and doing nothing to protect her children.
The mother will be out of jail soon, but I think she lost the right to be their mother....

If you would have 5 minutes with this E.Chen ,what will it help you. In what way will it help you ? Even though he might be Guilty all the way, what right do you have to kill him? Let Hakodosh Bururach Hu judge him! You are not allowed to do, what you thinking to do in FIVE Minutes .

This doesn't sound like children who were tortured by Elior Chen.
They speak much too much philosophy to make it believable that they were not taught what to say. It is OBVIOUSLY a fake. Any expert will see through all this. There is no natural anger in their voices.
I feel i made a fool of myself for wasting my time listening to this!

Shimon Taylor, I don't know any more about this incident than you do, but I do know from personal experience, that when talking about something that hurts to talk about, it is much easier to sound or pretend to sound removed from the situation. It makes talking about it easier. I am sure it was not easy for these children to talk. And frankly, I don't see how you, or anyone else can judge what did or did not happen unless you were a personal witness.

This area is called comments not commentary. The point of "comments" is that they can be personal, it's about what you feel or think. People read this story and they feel pain, they wish to express themselves and tell the world that they are hurt by this story.

What would you rather see? People writing facts? No one knows the facts.

I read the story and I felt sad. I just wanted YOU to know that!!

Judging by your comments above, I find it hard to believe you have any reservation about making a fool of yourself.

1) Internet lives forever. There are laws that are in place to protect the children, the victims here -- who don't want this story to follow them throughout life by potential employers, classmates, nosey neighbors etc. As stated above, the children want their privacy and don't want to relive this trauma and share it with their classmates.

2) It is not reported that mother "carried out' the acts committed on her children. Rather, it was Chen and his henchmen who did, and who are all in jail awaiting trial.

3) The father brought his family into this cult, made Chen his "rav" and convinced his wife over time that this was melech hamoshiach capable of "mofsim."

4) The normal side (mother's family) is involved to the extent the father of children permits. It's no secret that he alienated his wife from her entire family under guise that they weren't religious enough and claimed that they were therefore a "bad" influence. (note: always red flag when son in law says your not religious enough but that your money IS good enough.)

5) Choshuve grandparent is also caring for disabled spouse.
