Butner, NC - Madoff Moved from Jail to Medical Center |

Butner, NC - Mega-swindler Bernard Madoff has been quietly transferred to a prison medical facility, federal officials said Wednesday.
The $65 billion Ponzi schemer was shuffled into the Federal Medical Center at the Butner Federal Correctional Facility in Butner, N.C., prison records show.
Madoff was sentenced to 150 years for swindling investors, and has been cooling his heels in one of the non-medical wings of Butner since July.
Madoff was moved from the medium-security to the medical complex on Dec. 18, Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman Traci Billingsley said.
“The potential reasons for an inmate’s transfer are numerous and we don’t release those specific reasons,” she said, when asked if Madoff was moved for physical or mental health concerns.
In response to a flurry of reports about Madoff’s ill health this summer, the federal Bureau of Prisons said: “We can tell you that Bernie Madoff is not terminally ill, and has not been diagnosed with cancer.”
Billingsley said that earlier statement “still remains true.”

Don't just blame Madoff.
Think of all these useless paper pushers in the so called charities who got fired & now are doing finally some productive work.
Think of all that unproductive money which was sitting around in those so called charities & got reshuffled to people who really can use it.
See.... not all is so negative.
