New York, NY - The next place to see modern art in New York City could be on the roof of a yellow cab.

A Las Vegas, Nev.-based company that sells advertising space atop taxis says it plans to display artworks on roughly 500 cabs during January in place of commercials.

Show Media co-owner John Amato says he wanted to give something back to the city.

The project will cost the company about $100,000 in lost revenue.

The Art Production Fund of New York helped select the artists whose works will sit atop passenger cabins: Shirin Neshat, Alex Katz and Yoko Ono.

Each artist’s work will appear on about 160 cabs.

youre a bunch of uncultured buffoons, what kind of talk is this, "let's hope this is more normal", and you mr. "im sorry i guess u dont know what "art" is in todays society", what do you guys know about art?! you people never left the dark ages! you shunned the renaissance, and the enlightenment, the age of reason and so on...you're idea of good music is some kind of lugubrious durge, sung at a shabbos table that makes people want to put a shotgun in their mouths because it's so depressing, anything else is too modern and forbidden, and your concept of art would be a cave painting if you even believed that cave men existed, which of course you don't, due to your absurd lack of understanding of science and history...
go to college. hey, go to high school, i'll bet you didn't even do that.

No the music coming out of the hipster house next to me that is beautiful music, so beautiful that they leave drunk and spread their art and graffiti wherever they go, like dogs marking their territory with stench.

Thank G-d shehivdilonu min hatoyim venosan lonu Torath Emes; not such obnoxious sheker called modern (read “funky/volgar) art.
