The EA-6B Prowler will pass over the Verrazano Bridge and head north up the Hudson River, according to the NYPD, which issued the alert late yesterday.
The hope is to avoid a repetition of what happened last April, when Air Force One flew over the Statue of Liberty for a photo shoot — sending 9/11-haunted New Yorkers running for cover.
