as I always guessed, this story was always a complete fabrication, fed to a media howling for themans blood. I like everyone else was originally quite Anti Paterson, but soon the extreme media hate against the man became to blatant to ignore. Wondering why, I started reading up about him, and quickly came to the conclusion the man is too honest for albany to endure. wake up and smell the coffee people

this guy is far from perfect, but don't forget how he got to office.

But the attacks against him are ridiculous. The Democratic machine is chewing him up alive because he refuses to play be their script. It all started with the Kennedy/Gillibrand thing. now irs the fact that he is telling it how it is reagrding the budget. That has the unions and all the special interests lined up against him. If only the voters could see past all that, he may be just the right guy to shake things up in albany.

I am not saying he gets a free pass against scandal, but absent a real scandal, Patterson is better than Cuomo.

What a non-story. There was going to be a scandal and there wasn't going to be a scandal. He was going to resign, he wasn't going to resign. so in effect, nothing happened but they got a story about it anyway.

If that is the case, he would have to step down.

Call me crazy, but it seems there is something much bigger behind the media's unrelenting demolition of this guy. I am not so much interested for this story to come out, than I am interested to know who (specifically, which political powers) is behind this smattering. I think that will potentially be a much much bigger story.
It's amazing that in this information age, the truth hasn't been dug up yet...

How do you know? No source has released what the alleged scandal is about yet.

Good thing you brought it up. The Dems are the ones eating him alive... I mean, it couldn't be the COUNTLESS stories of him on Faux News that are driving this too, could it? (sarcasm intended)
