Oren’s speech to about 500 people was interrupted by shouting and protests multiple times Monday night.
UC Irvine spokesman Tom Vasich says nine Irvine students and two students from UC Riverside were arrested for disturbing a public event. All were cited and released.
The Orange County Register 
reports that at one point, Oren stopped, asked for hospitality and resumed his speech, but the shouts continued.
Political science professor Mark Petracca says he was embarrassed by the outbursts.
Earlier, the UCI Muslim Student Union issued an email condemning Oren’s appearance on campus. It was not clear if the arrested students were members of the group.

Typical Liberals.
Ex-hippies probably high on medical marijuana.
I thought Liberals were tolerant of foreigners and people of minority religions. I thought Liberals were tolerant of other people's culture. I though Liberals don't offend people of other countries.
Or is that only if they are from third-world countries where they hate women and hate freedom and hate gays and hate everything Liberals themselves stand for - only those people are Liberals tolerant of.

I think the FBI & CIA are way out of contact on whats going on i dont think there will be soon female suicide bombers in USA we have it already just look at this video i have no doubt each & every male or female in this video who are moslems (obviously) would be a jihadist

The strong response of the professor is admirable, and should be a model for future aggressive demonstrations of Islamist garbage. Disagreement can be voiced in pointed questions at THE END of a speaker's presentation. These students should be expelled for antisocial behavior -- and all antisocial behavior met with zero tolerance henceforth. Otherwise this WILL be "London...Teheran..."

This has nothing to do with liberals, it has to do with the uncivilized Muslim Student Union.

These loosers did the same thing to Obama when he was in Florida talk about health care - someone from the crowed changed the subject and asked how - Obama can support Israel

Of course the protesters think they have won.
But think about it. Do you think Americans love to see angry, screaming Arabs?
When an American woman puts her children on a plane to go see her ex-husband, do you think she is thinking about Gaza, or "International law"?
She is worried about some "Freedom fighter" with exploding underwear.
Let them scream and protest all they want. Tell them to wear hijabs and keffiyahs. Americans just love that.

good luck to whoever this moslem student group gets to speak. i can see a counter protest coming and it won't be pretty. the way they acted was counterproductive. the only people who think they won is themselves, they didn't because whoever attended the speech had their minds set that they hate or love israel and these characters weren't going to change any minds, and this little incident will come back to bite them, they acted foolishly and will have to pay.
