Flatbush, NY - A hate-monger is terrorizing a Jewish man by pelting his Flatbush home with eggs and writing anti-Semitic remarks in the snow in front of the house, police sources said.
On three occasions, the unidentified suspect tossed eggs at the 57-year-old man’s residence on Marlborough Road near Abelmarle Road. The hoodlum then wrote a message in the snow, “God Hates Jews,” at about 10:50 a.m. Sunday.

Recently Boro Park was terrorized by a few Egg-tgrowing incidents. The Shomrim eventually caught him and it was a former police officer from the 66 precint. When he was caught, he was drunk and pulled a gun on the crowd.
Needless to say, the story was hushed up by the NYPD.

I don't understand it--I live a few blocks away from this person on East 8th St.--There are a lot of Jews in the area he lives in and I am wondering why he in particular was picked out to have eggs thrown at him when no one else in the neighborhood has had those incidents that we know of--food for thought..mmm?

This is very true. Anti-Semitism is at record levels now with people blaming the economy on "greedy bloodsucking Jews" and the like. Kristallnacht started ultimately with anti-Semitic jesters and canards and ended in the Holocaust, the most tragic event in the history of the world.
Anti-Semitism must be confronted with the strongest measures possible - whether it's killing Jews in the street, blaming them for the economy, or saying we should appease rogue states like Iran and not go to war with them - we must never be silent.

Your reply makes absolutely no sense. That is a neighborhood with a lot of Yidden--both Young Israel types and black hat types. When anti Semitic attacks have occurred in Brooklyn, they are usually eggs thrown on numerous cars, tires slashed or swastikas on cars or doors--it's never just one home--it's usually an entire neighborhood or an entire block. Therefore these egg throwing episodes geared towards only one person makes no sense. I don't want to make the victim a victim again, but it seems to me that he must have stepped on someone's toes, so to speak, that whoever is throwing the eggs is only throwing it at him, Otherwise it would be other people in his neighborhood too.

It is odd to single out one person in a neighborhood where other Jews live in peace. But the man being targeted may not even have stepped on toes--he may be the innocent (and unfortunate) focus of some troubled person's anti-semitic obsession. Not to excuse anyone or anything, but the culprit may be mentally ill.
