Albany, NY - Report: Hot-Tempered Sen. Parker Threatened Violence |
|
Albany, NY - A heated exchange took place at last night’s closed-door Senate Democratic conference between Sens. Diane Savino, Kevin Parker and Jeff Klein resulted in a stand-off between the two male lawmakers, Senate sources confirm.
Sources who witnessed the exchange said Parker, who has a history of hot-temperedness, “charged” Savino while she was reviewing the findings of the select committee report on Monserrate for her colleagues.
Parker was “yelling and cursing”, saying: “We’re not going to do anything with the Republicans! F*#! the Republicans!”
When Klein stood up to defend Savino, Parker reportedly asked him: “You want a piece of me?” Klein shot back: “If that’s what it takes to stop this, then yes.”
Parker was held back by Senate Democratic Conference Leader John Sampson and others. No blows were exchanged. The situation diffused quickly after that.

Parker is afraid that because of his track record of being violent he might be next to get kicked out. He's masking it as a "political" thing.

Elections is this September. Let's vote him out of office.
Maybe Felder could run again and this time we will all go out and vote and show Albany that we can deliver who we want up there to represent us.

Yes, he's the one that beat Simcha because Boro Park just didn't bother to vote. He's a fighter not a legislator!

Typical media report. Tell us the ending of the story without telling us how it got to that level. What happened that pushed people into this kind of fight?
It is like jumping to the end of the book... "... and they lived happily ever after" without reading the whole fairy tale before it.

its our rights as americans to go out on election day and cast our ballot to the person of our choice, but, consider this, our rights are not violated if we dont go out and vote all together! that is my opinion of the word FREEDOM! do what you want! vote OR dont vote!
