Manhattan, NY - Shards of glass rained down on hundreds of revelers — including actor Chris Noth and “Jersey Shore” cast members Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Vinny Guadagnino — at a Midtown party last night, injuring ten, officials said.

“Omg roof just collapsed!” Snooki Tweeted right after the 11:15 p.m. accident at the Sony Building, where some 300 guests had gathered to celebrate Purim, a Jewish costume celebration.

“We thought the dj was beatin the beat hardcore but nope, the roof couldn’t handle snooki and vin,” she posted.

It’s not clear why pieces of the ceiling fell in the atrium of the Madison Avenue building, which was evacuated.

“I think me and @sn00ki felt the wrath for not being Jewish,” Guadagnino Tweeted.

“It was a rocking party, this happened right in the middle of everything,” one attendee told The Post.

The injured guests were taken to area hospitals with cuts.

“Small pieces fell everywhere, in my hair, on my shoes,” said Dorian Levy, who was dressed as Jackie Moon, the Will Ferrell character from “Semi-Pro.”

“A glass ceiling fell on everyone,” said Nellie Barkley, 29. “This is my first and last time at one of these.”

Boruch Hashem - This is not a purim party and people should know it. Remember Purim is on the level of holiness of Yom Ke'Purim

Wasn't Vinny Guadagnino dating an Israeli girl on Jersey Shore? He's practically Jewish already. Why Mr. Big was there, I do not know.

Maybe I'm a little older and more mature than most of you, but what I've learned in life is that its not my job to tell people what derech they should or shouldn't be on and act as the religious/morality police. In my experience, there are more tzaddikim then you can count throughout the chiloni world and surely rashim in the charedi one. when I heard the Megillah, Haman wasn't so discriminating in which kinds of Jews he wanted to kill, and Mordechai wasn't wearing a black hat. So, this Purim, lets celebrate the strength of Klal Yisrael and stop telling everyone what to do.

What does the Jesey Shore have to do with a bunch of goyim having a party on Purim. I didn't know they celebrated Purim and I thought the Jersey shore was near Deal, not Manhattan.

You may be right, but had there been VIN in those days, Mordechai would have been mocked as a "Taliban concert-banning Rabbi", like many of you do now. So before deciding that Mordechai was not a black-hatter, think about what your response would've been had you been there at that time.

I don't think many of you realize Snookie was born in Chile. Do your research. Maybe it was punishment for being a Chilean goy at a Purim Party. She brought the earth quake to Manhattan. As for Aish, sponsoring this party, Aish isn't exactly promoting piousness, there job is to take people who know nothing about Judaism and give them some basics.

I think the real point to focus on is:
1) This Purim party that was sponsored by Aish Hatorah - a national kiruv organization -- sounded like the seudas Achashveirosh beginning with the invitation.

2)Chris Noth, the star of the the "Sex and the City" TV show (that corrupted the minds of many young women into thinking that promiscuity was the norm) -- was the honored guest of the event -- the event's name draw. Thus, the rabbis of Aish Hatorah were contributing to establishing "sex and the city" as the model that young Jewish professionals should aspire to.

3) If all that a kiruv organization has to sell is the corrupt values of the secular media in order to get young Jews to come closer to Yiddishkeit, then why even bother???

4) not sure if it was Hashem's wrath or Rabbi Noah Weinberg up in heaven who raised a ruckus at the corruption of the organization he dedicated his whole life to building.

5) Let noone say there was no yad Hashem here -- a glass ceiling falling -- two panels that were 3"x 5" feet large-- and noone was seriously injured???
This was a wake-up call -- "Hello you partygoers down there, did you forget the lessons of the megillah already?

How can a "Chiloni" be a Tzaddik? when the word chiloni means free (free of mitzvos)
